RHOC star Shannon Beador addresses rumors that she and ex-husband David Beador might reconcile following their recent reunion.
Shannon Beador is setting the record straight about her recent run-in with her ex-husband, David Beador, at The Quiet Woman earlier this month.
The RHOC star appeared on Wednesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, where she laughed off a question about “sparks” between her and David.
“Absolutely zero sparks,” the 59-year-old said.
“For the last five years, if he heard my voice on the phone with the kids, he would hang up. So I went up to him, and I said, ‘I’m not leaving your side until you take a picture, and we send it to the kids,’” she explained.
Shannon admitted that her three daughters – 20-year-old Sophia and 18-year-old twins Stella and Adeline were thrilled to see their parents getting along.
“Sophie FaceTimed us immediately,” Shannon said, adding that Stella and Adeline were also “super excited about it.”
Andy Cohen then asked, “Do you think now that he’s not with [Lesley], things could maybe be better between the two of you?”
“I’m hopeful,” Shannon confessed. “The twins graduated last week, and he said, ‘Let’s take a picture of the four of us’ … So I’m hopeful.”
The Bravo executive producer agreed, saying, “That would be nice,” especially “for the kids’ sake.”
Shannon and David split in 2017. While David was the one to pull the plug on their marriage, Shannon was the first to file for divorce in December 2017. The former couple’s divorce was quite ugly, with them both fighting over child custody and spousal support.
In April 2019, Shannon Beador received a $1.4 million divorce settlement and $10,000 a month in support.
Shannon went on to date John Janssen from 2019 until late October 2022. As for David, he went on to marry Lesley Cook. The two welcomed a daughter in February 2021. David and Lesley filed for divorce from each other in May 2023.
