Andy Cohen is tackling the gossip about season 14 of RHONJ head-on. The Watch What Happens Live host sat down with E! News to discuss what’s going on with the Garden State Housewives franchise moving forward.

When it comes to reports that RHONJ is being put on “pause” for the summer, Andy denies the claim. According to Andy, Bravo always takes a break in between filmed for the RHONJ franchise.

Of the rumored Real Housewives of New Jersey “pause,” Andy said:

“I mean, we always take a break between seasons, so I don’t know why that is out there.”

However, longtime Bravo fans know that is not the case. For the last several years, RHONJ has infamously begun filming their new season just weeks, maybe a month or two at the most, after filming the previous season’s reunion.

Last year, the season 12 reunion was filmed in February, and the cast began filming season 13 in June. However, in seasons prior, the cast filmed the reunion in April and started filming in June. RHONJ is known for filming their seasons back to back, much like the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Sources close to production tell AllAboutTRH that filming for season 14 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey isn’t expected to start until October at the earliest. This means the RHONJ cast would have nearly six months off in-between filming. Depending on how things go filming for season 14 might not start until November/December or early 2024.

As for whether Joe Gorga, Melissa Gorga, and Teresa Giudice can co-exist on the Real Housewives of New Jersey next season, Andy says that is yet to be seen.

“We will see. I don’t know. We know how they feel,” Andy admitted, acknowledging that both Melissa and Teresa have said they are not leaving RHONJ.

When it comes to casting changes and contracts for season 14, Andy says that no decisions have been made regarding the next season of RHONJ.

He explains that the network is waiting until after the RHONJ season 13 reunion airs on Bravo to decide who is returning to the show.

Andy also hits that viewers’ reaction to the reunion and the Housewives will play a role in who stays and who goes for season 14 of RHONJ.

Teresa and Luis already have somewhat. It is called Teresa's VIP where people give them $4.99 automatically taken from their credit or debit card every month. (There are different prizes given out supposedly every month but not so sure about how legit that will turn out.)

I think the break is going to hurt the Felon worse than anyone else. She's the one begging to still be around for season 14. She doesn't have the money to be throwing around anymore since she's not defrauding banks anymore and as she says, "has 4 dorters to put thru college".

Maybe that will be Gia's excuse for not eventually going to law school. It will be "Because of Joe and Melissa, my mom couldn't afford it." It won't be "Because of Luis my mom couldn't afford it" or the real reason which would be because she doesn't apply or doesn't get accepted.

It will hurt Teresa the most for sure. She has already been whining publicly about how much she needs the job! She is supporting 5 other people with one starting college this year. Her net worth is listed at only 1/2 million! The Gorgas and Marge will be affected for sure but Teresa is desperate plus she has Luis to deal with.

Please, please, please get rid of Teresa. I know people don't like the Gorgas either, but Teresa has consistently been causing trouble for them since the first season they joined. Whether or not Melissa cheated, was a stripper, etc., it is between Joe and Melissa what the state of their marriage is. Teresa needs to butt out especially considering who she used to be married to. A guy who cheated, called her names (remember "Oh my bitch wife" while on the phone with his "business partner" at the vineyard (I didn't know that is what we called a side piece these days), and got her involved in his scams which ultimately sent her to prison. I'm just over her, and now on top of it she is married to Louis who I find creepy and not nearly the peaceful guy he tried to portray when he first got on the show. After the Private Investigator stuff came out, I think he is a legal liability to Bravo if it comes out he is having fellow castmembers followed or their pasts dug through by some professional.

OT but watching Season 4 (first time) and Caroline said matter of factly that "Teresa isn't going to be happy until she sees Joe's divorce papers". Nothing ever changed. Boy she was nasty so far that season.

I don't think Teresa or Melissa should go, but the show all about them is getting boring, what more can they possibly do to each other, l do know who the rat is on the show, Tre new hubby is a weird dude,but she picked him , good luck with that, he is TROUBLE, let's get more into sweet Dolores that she wants everyone happy, she loves to play with people, boy is she turning around after meeting her nice Irish boyfriend and driving rolls royces, and how about one of the new ladies, Danielle that hot mess, we can at least listen to her ranting for at least half the show, so change it up with different people, and give these two families a rest. PLEASE!

Get rid of the Gorgas! Melissa is such a phoney flakey, victim-wannabe! She continues to hide behind the facade she created. Last season she was handed a storyline and she could have went against Marge. I think that shows you how friggin phoney she is. Instead she chose to go after Teresa-?

She can be the "villain" with a heart after Teresa, Luis, Jennifer A. and Danielle are gone from RHNJ. They could do a Jerry Springer type spinoff with those 4 for starters. Jennifer and Danielle would fight each other so much over Teresa and Luis would be such a devious, volatile, aggressive drama queen that Teresa might come out looking the best!
