Jen Shah’s Prison Sentence Update

RHOSLC alum Jen Shah has only been in prison for a little over a month now and her sentence has already been reduced by one year.

The controversial Bravoleb will now be released from prison in August 2028 instead of 2029 after getting a year shaved off her sentence.

According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons’ inmate database, Jen’s prison sentence has been shortened from 78 months to 66 months.

Jen is currently serving her time at Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas after being sentenced to 6 1/2 years behind bars in January 2023. In March 2021, the reality TV star was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering while filming season 2 of RHOSLC. She plead guilty to the charges in July 2022 after insisting she was innocent for more than a year.

In addition to her prison time, Jen owes $6,645,251 in restitution from the illegal earnings she made during her nationwide telemarketing scheme. She is also required forfeit $6,500,000, 30 luxury items and 78 counterfeit luxury items.

Speaking of turning over her luxury items, Page Six repots that Federal authorities are looking to seize Jen’s jewelry as part of her forfeiture agreement.

According to Wednesday’s filing, authorities haven’t been able to locate the jewelry and assets Jen purchased with cash. However, they did recently track down a “diamond-encrusted silver necklace with a snowflake pendant from Baranof Jewelers” and “an 18-karat rose gold and diamond ring.”

Federal authorities are looking to seize the rest of Jen’s jewelry to fulfill her forfeiture obligation.

Season 4 of RHOSLC is currently in production and is expected to premiere on Bravo in 2023 or early 2024.

If making the victims "whole" would be faster and easier with her out of the slammer, then I'm all for it. I'm all for "punishment" per se, and I do believe she should do at least 18 - 24 mos., but let us not forget; the point of prison is to protect society from criminals, and I don't think this whackadoodle is any longer a threat to anyone.
