From friends to feuding in the blink of an eye. Unexpected friendship troubles take center stage in the upcoming season of RHOC.
Rumor has it that Heather Dubrow and Gina Kirschenheiter’s friendship is on the rocks after filming season 17 of RHOC.
A new report alleges that Heather and Gina are feeding after a betrayal that went down while filming the upcoming season of RHOC.
The Instagram account The Orange Countea claims that “one of feuded within the group [for season 17] will be between Heather and Gina.”
“This is shocking considering how close the two became [while filming] season 16” of the OG Housewives franchise,” the page explains.
According to a source, “[Season 17] opens with Heather feeling that Gina has been MIA in their friendship.” However, the two are able to brush any issues under the rug, that is, until a major betrayal goes down.
”While things seemingly get better for a period of time, Gina does something to Heather after the [cast trip to] Montana,” the source reveals.
The incident leaves Heather “[feeling] betrayed and [contemplating] their friendship,” adds the source.
As Bravo fans know, Heather and Gina became fast friends when Heather returned to RHOC for season 16. Heather first joined the Orange County Housewives franchise during season 7. She later exited several seasons later following season 11. However, she announced her much-anticipated return to RHOC in June 2021.
Gina and Heather quickly bonded over being from New York. Fancy Pants was born in the Bronx but raised in Chappaqua, NY, while Gina grew up in Long Island, NY.
While Gina and Heather alleged fallout is sad to hear, it’s not the only feud Heather will have to deal with during season 17.
As AllAboutTRH previously reported, as the OC Housewives gear up for the season 17 premiere of RHOC, they are extremely divided. Back in December, the cast celebrated the holiday season with two separate dinners leaving some of the Housewives caught in the middle.
It seems that there is some bad blood between Heather and returning Housewife Tamra Judge. The Two T’s in a Pod podcast host teased her season 17 drama with Heather during a recent Instagram Live.
According to Tamra, Heather was left off the list of one of Heather’s fabulous parties for the RHOC crews and cast. She claims that Shannon Beador and Taylor Armstrong also didn’t score an invite.
”She invited the crew, and she invited the other Housewives, but the only one that she [included] was [Emily Simpson],” Tamra said.
Tamra made it clear that even if she did get invited, she would not have attended the event.
If that weren’t enough, Tamra recently hinted that Heather is allegedly rude to the RHOC production team.
”I’m not going to name somebody, but I will say that we have one on our cast right now that does not treat production well,” Tamra alleged in a March 2023 episode of her podcast. She and co-host Teddi Mellencamp then gave more breadcrumbs when they alluded to the allegations made against Heather during season 16 of the show.
During season 16 of RHOC, Noella Berger alleged that Heather got physical with a member of the crew while filming an episode. Heather denied the accusation.
Season 17 has yet to get a premiere date from Bravo. The upcoming season of RHOC stars Heather Dubrow, Tamra Judge, Shannon Beador, Emily Simpson, Gina Kirschenheiter, and newbie Jennifer Pedranti. They will be joined by Real Housewives of Beverly Hills OG Taylor Armstrong, who will appear as a friend of the Housewives. The OG of the OC, Vicki Gunvalson, will be featured as a guest.
