FaceTime Recording Controversy: Raquel Leviss Accuses Tom Sandoval Without Permission

Pump Rules star Rachel Leviss aka Raquel Leviss.

Last week Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix life flipped upside down when she found out that her boyfriend Tom Sandoval was having an affair with their best friend Raquel Leviss.

Tom and Ariana had been dating since 2013 and the affair came to light when Ariana found videos from Raquel of doing inappropriate things to herself on his phone.

Raquel has stayed silent since news broke out but now is accusing Tom Sandoval of recording her on FaceTime without her permission citing revenge porn.

According to TMZ, Raquel’s attorney has sent a letter to majority of her Vanderpump Rules cast warning them that that the recording “was done illegally without Raquel’s knowledge or consent.”

Her attorney stated that this was nonconsensual p*rn*graphy “making it a crime to invade someone’s privacy and disseminate such material.”

The attorney says that if the video gets out on social media or is sent to another person – this will be a violation. The attorney representing Raquel advises anyone who has the video to delete it.

The ending of the letter warns that this matter should be taken very seriously.

After news broke out regarding the filing, Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent confirmed the legal letter was sent to her personal email rather than through her legal counsel.

If Tom recorded her without permission (not sure that is true) and it was for his own use and he did not intend to distribute it to others, it's hard to see that defined as revenge porn. However, if Ariana sent it from Tom's phone to her own and then distributed it to her fiends and fellow employees, Ariana could be accused of revenge porn. And, of course, if any of them sent it to others, they too could be accused of revenge porn.
