Harry Hamlin is backing his wife Lisa Rinna’s move to exit the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after eight seasons.
The 70-year-old actor believes that it was the right time for his wife to move on the show, noting that she did all she could do to “elevate” the show.
“[It was the] correct decision, the right decision to make at this point after eight years,” Harry told People on Friday. “I think she took it as far as she could take it, and she elevated the show.”
“Now it’s time to move on,” he added. “Eight years is a long time to do anything, the same thing over and over again. It’s time to move along.”
Meanwhile, over the weekend, Lisa released her first statement after announcing her exit from RHOBH on Thursday.
“We had a good run. Love you! See you soon!” Lisa shared on Instagram.
Lisa then shared several posts from the Bravoverse on her Instagram Stories, including one from Andy Cohen.
Andy dubbed Lisa’s time on RHOBH “an iconic run,” while others noted that it was the “end of an era.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is expected to return for season 13 in 2023.
