Lights, camera, drama!
Production on season 17 of the Real Housewives of Orange County is in full swing, and already some drama brewing!
Season 17 of RHOC stars Heather Dubrow, Shannon Beador, Emily Simpson, Gina Kirschenheiter, and returning veteran Tamra Judge. RHOBH alum Taylor Armstrong is also joining the cast as a friend of the Housewives. Bravo is reportedly looking to add one or two more Housewives to the cast as the season rolls on.
According to Deux Moi, there is a lot going on in the OC.
So far, there’s been one explosive dinner where Tamra confronted Emily, Gina, and Shannon about their responses to Bravo letting Tamra go in January 2020.
With that salacious tidbit, let’s dive into all the drama!
“OC 17 filming is going on. They started filming in July with Shannon and Heather. One topic that gets brought up is Emily and Gina allegedly gossiping and mocking Shannon’s season 16 reunion mishap. Shannon feels like this damaged Bones’ (her designer) reputation, and she wants to hold them accountable for it,” the insider reveals.
“They film the cast’s reaction to Tamra and Taylor joining the cast, and last week after Tamra returned from her Europe trip she held a dinner that went explosive. She tried confronting Gina, Emily and Shannon about their responses to her firing, and Emily got really defensive,” the source continued.
As for Taylor, the source explained: “Taylor just started filming, so she hasn’t been at any group event. She recently met with Heather and Terry for a dinner. Expect Taylor solo footage, though; they are filming some home scenes despite her being a friend.”
The insider also reveals: “There is another new housewife also. 6 housewives only, though. None of Alexis Bellino, Gretchen Rossi, or Lynne Curtin will be on this season despite rumors swirling online.”
Despite this news, Bravo fans can expect cameos from their favorite and least favorite former Housewives.
“Viewers can expect cameos from any of Noellla, Braunwyn, Vicki, Meghan, and RHOBH alum Teddi Mellencamp,” the source added.
RHOC is set to return for season 17 in early 2023.
