Shutting down the rumor mill? Not quite, more like stirring the pot.

Over the weekend, a rumor about Lisa Rinna and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills newbie Sheree Zampino started circulating around social media.

The rumor which we caught wind of via former RHOBH friend of the Housewives Dana Wilkey claims that Sheree got bitten by a rat while filming a dinner scene at Lisa’s house during season 12.

“A source is now reporting that while filming the show’s 12th season, Sheree Zampino was bitten by a rat during an event at Lisa Rinna’s house. Zampino was rushed to the hospital where she was treated for exposure to Hantavirus, a disease found in wild rodents,” the report read.

We posted about the report on our Instagram questioning if there’s any way this all could be true.

“Is this real? This can’t be real, right?” we wrote in the caption of our post.

Kyle Richards commented on our post, saying, Omg now I have heard everything” alongside a crying laughing emoji.

Meanwhile, Lisa reacted to the rumor with a post on her Instagram Stories.

In the post, Lisa shared a video of a woman screaming and running away as a giant rat runs out in front of her.

“Oh look the rat that allegedly bit Sheree is in NYC now!!! Runnnnn” Lisa wrote alongside the clip.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Wednesdays at 8 pm on Bravo.
