It’s no secret that Bravo has been plotting a way to transition the Vanderpump Rules cast from SURvers to their current realities as grown-ass adults with families and businesses.
The network previously planned to use Stassi Schroeder’s wedding to Beau Clark as the jump-off point for a new Pump Rules spin-off show entitled Valley Rules. However, that all fell apart when Bravo fired Stassi and Kristen Doute from the show in June 2020. A year later, the network went on to let go of Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright.
Fast forward to 2022, and rumors are swirling that a new Vanderpump Rules spin-off show is in the works. The rumor started when Lala Kent appeared on the April 11 episode of Watch What Happens Live, and host Andy Cohen introduced her as “Lala from VanderpumpValley.”
Now Lisa Vanderpump addresses the rumor in a new interview with E! News.
“I don’t think we’re there yet,” Lisa confessed. “So I’m not saying we won’t be one day. But no, I can’t validate those rumors.”
When it comes to the possibility of a reality show set around her new Vanderpump à Paris restaurant, Lisa said she’s open to it.
“It would be a different show if we did a show here because I think it was always about the group and the friendship and how they all kind of grew up together. So it’d be a different show, but of course, it is a great canvas,” Lisa said.
Vanderpump Rules has yet to be picked up for season 10; however, Lisa believes there’s enough drama to warrant another season.
Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz’s divorce is rocking the Bravo world, plus fans were just as shocked by Lala Kent’s recent revelation that she cut Tom out of her life after he hung out with her ex Randall Emmett.
“There’s a story that still keeps going, but it’s been 10 years. But I’m also very aware that the fans are very invested,” Lisa said.
“I’m not allowed to say,” she teased, “but I always know more than you.”
