Liar, Liar pants on fire!
Jen Shah caught herself in a major lie moments after learning she was about to be arrested.
On Sunday’s episode of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Jen received a call from her husband, Coach Shah, as she and costars, Whitney Rose, Heather Gay, Lisa Barlow, and Jennie Nguyen, prepared to leave for their trip to Vail, Colorado.
While it’s unclear what was said on the call, as Jen had costar Whitney turn off her microphone, we’re pretty sure the phone call was a heads up about her looming arrest. Whatever was said on the call Jen quickly realized she was in hot water and needed to leave ASAP.
“Hi baby, no, not yet. We’re at Beauty Lab and Laser in the parking lot. Okay,” Jen begins before looking right at the camera and realizing she doesn’t want this call to be caught on camera. She then asks Whitney, “Can you turn this off? Can you turn it off?”
Whitney then helps Jen turn off her microphone. After getting off the phone Jen tells the ladies “I have some bad news. I just got a phone call and Sharrieff Sr.’s in the hospital. He has internal bleeding, so I need to go. They’re like, ‘Are you still in Salt Lake?’ And I’m like, ‘Yeah, we’re still here.’”
“He had an appointment and he has internal bleeding and they’re not sure if they’re going to need to do surgery,” she continued. “And I don’t know what’s really going on.”
Twelve minutes later, the Sheriff’s Department, Homeland Security, and the New York Police Department show up telling production, “We’re looking for Jen Shah.”
