Burrr…it’s getting cold in here. Grab a hot toddy because a major cold front is coming to Bravo with season 2 of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
The second season, which premieres on Sunday, September 12, stars Lisa Barlow, Mary Cosby, Heather Gay, Meredith Marks, Whitney Rose, Jen Shah, and newcomer Jennie Nguyen.
So, what can you expect from season 2? Spicy drama, ice-cold shade, and some very juicy gossip. On top of that, there’s tons of “projecting, deflecting and lying anymore.”
To start, fans will meet newbie Jennie, who is quickly dubbed a “little firecracker.”
Whitney then brings up rumors and gossip about Mary being a cult leader.
“I’m not God; I worship the God in me,” Mary tells Lisa, who later sits down with a man who has some inside scoop on the religious leader.
“Is it a cult? Yes. Does she call herself God? Yes,” he tells Lisa.
The drama heats up when the focus turns to Jen’s legal issues. In March, Jen and her assistant Stuart Smith were arrested in connection to a nationwide telemarketing scheme.
In the trailer, Jen sobs over the prospect of going to jail and being away from her sons for eight years.
The drama reaches a fever pitch when Jen and Meredith have a blow-out fight over the controversy.
Some of the group thinks Meredith may have had something to do with Jen being indicted. Meredith denies the claims while Jen insists the charges against her are “bulls—.”
