Rumor has it…the B may be returning to the Real Housewives of New York!
The New York Housewives franchise is going through some major ups and downs. Ratings are in the trash, fans aren’t enjoying the show, and the Housewives are at each other’s throats BTS.
An insider recently told the DailyMail.com, “All hell is breaking loose behind the scenes at the Real Housewives of New York. The cast is completely divided, and the women are not getting along with each other.”
Because of this, Bravo has informed the cast that filming for the season 13 reunion has been delayed from August 5 until at least September. They also told the cast that filming for season 14 wouldn’t begin until 2022.
This decision to put things on hold will give Bravo some time to figure out their next move with the franchise – more specifically, if they need to shake up the cast in a big way.
A second source tells the DailyMail that “There is one cast member who producers have found particularly problematic as what viewers are seeing on television isn’t real.”
They added, “Just like OC, you can expect a cast shakeup, though. This show can be saved. Look at how great Beverly Hills is now.”
With a casting shake-up in the works, rumors are circulating that Bravo is doing everything they can to get Bethenny Frankel back on the show, which is why they are pushing filming for season 14 until 2022.
“I heard that a certain skinny girl is in early talks for a comeback #rhony,” @dorindadeadly tweeted on Thursday.
This rumor has fans divided, with some being totally onboard for B’s possible return while others aren’t so thrilled with the idea.
“Ugh, pleassseee. Her and Dorinda + Bershan + Newbie would be great,” one fan said while another added, “She will take down Leah at least.”
“Nooo, not again @BravoTV, we can’t go making the same mistakes over & over again. It didn’t work out the first 2 times! There are plenty of more suitable candidates! Jill, Dorinda, Alex, Kelly, Jules, Tinsley, Cindy,” a third fan commented.
Another added, “That’s why they aren’t rushing into filming next season, lol. They’re gonna do everything in their power to get Bethenny back before making any decisions.”
