Joe Giudice is getting very real about his marriage and divorce with ex-wife Teresa Giudice.
The former Real Housewives of New Jersey staple doesn’t think his marriage to Teresa would have lasted even if he hadn’t been ordered to leave the United States.
Joe moved to Italy in October 2019. He spent nearly 4 years in prison and was immediately transferred to an ice facility in March 2019 where he remained until being deported.
Two months after Joe left the United States for Italy, he and Teresa called it quits on their 20 year marriage. The two, who share daughters Gia, 20, Gabriella, 16, Milania, 15, and Audriana, 11, finalized their divorce in September 2020.
“I mean, she’s with her new guy and everything,” Joe told Us Weekly. “Why would I want to go back to that? … There’s a lot of other women out there.”
He also admits that he doesn’t miss being married at all but does miss being around his kids on a daily basis.
“I don’t really miss being married. … I’m good,” Joe explained before noting that he does miss seeing his kids on a regular basis.
Joe says he and Teresa are “cordial” with one another and are doing their best to co-parent but admits it is challenging at times.
“I talk to her,” Joe explained. “It’s not like we call each other every day but … I got nothing against her. I grew up with her, you know what I mean? She’s the mother of my kids.”
He added, “We do the best we can and that’s all we gotta do.”
RHONJ airs on Wednesdays at 9 pm EST on BRAVO.
