Lisa Vanderpump: The Iconic RHOBH Star

Lisa Vanderpump did not attend the season 9 reunion taping of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The day before the RHOBH reunion, she told reporters that she would not be attending – and that she would not be returning next season. This (of course) was discussed during the RHOBH reunion. Reunion host, Andy Cohen, brought up how LVP had said during a previous reunion that Adrienne Maloof should have attended the reunion but didn’t. Adrienne’s absence led to her being fired from the show. They played the clip and were making comparisons between the situations with LVP and Adrienne. Lisa V had addressed this on social media prior to the first part of the reunion airing. Lisa V said, “5 against one for 21 episodes…that’s the difference.” During the RHOBH reunion, Kyle Richards shared her theory as to why LVP didn’t attend the reunion. Kyle said, “Well I think she gave that interview yesterday so that she could say she quit because she knew that if she didn’t show up here today that you would probably do the same thing that you had to do with Adrienne – and fire her. So she was preempting getting fired by saying she quit yesterday.” Kyle added, “Do you think I wanted to show up, when Kim and I, I was crying so hard I was hyperventilating.” Kyle was explaining that there have been times that she didn’t want to show up – but did.
