After part one of the explosive reunion of The Real Housewives of New Jersey aired, Melissa Gorga joined Andy Cohen in the Watch What Happens Live clubhouse for an appearance. Melissa dished on the RHONJ reunion drama. People wanted to know why she defended Jackie Goldschneider, but not her sister-in-law, Teresa Giudice. Melissa’s husband Joe Gorga was also in the clubhouse, which made for a fun game of ‘Spousal Support’ that Melissa played with Mark Consuelos, who is married to Kelly Ripa.
Why was Melissa quick to defend Jackie but not Teresa when she was getting insults? Melissa said, “Jackie was defending me, so how could I not defend Jackie, who was defending me?”
Who does Melissa feel brought the most unnecessary drama this season? Melissa said Jennifer Aydin!
Has Melissa’s husband Joe come around to the idea of her working at her Envy boutique? Melissa answered, “He’s gotten better, I think I cracked into him a little bit. Yeah, he’s definitely better with it.”
Melissa and Mark played a fun game about ‘how well do you know your spouse.’ Melissa’s husband Joe was in attendance in the clubhouse, and Mark’s wife Kelly taped her responses. It was funny! It turns out Melissa’s celebrity pass is Dr. McDreamy from Grey’s Anatomy! Melissa thought that her running the water too much was Joe’s biggest pet peeve, however; it’s actually her fighting with Teresa. Hopefully they are able to continue working on their family relationship, it’ll never be as bad as it was – and they have come so far!
I thought this was a good episode of WWHL. I’m so excited that the RHONJ reunion is finally here!
