Southern Charm star Kathryn Dennis is denying the allegations made by her ex-boyfriend and father of her children, Thomas Ravenel, that she got drugs from show producers and that she was involved in a hit and run accidents. She also is claiming that she hasn’t failed a drug test. Last week Kathryn filed court documents in her custody battle with Thomas, and she responded to all of his allegations!
According to The Blast Kathryn is calling the drug allegations “frivolous” and she said that she has passed every single drug test that he’s requested since the court order back in 2017. Kathryn also noted that she’s a “fit and competent parent and the children seek and need more time with their mother not with a nanny.” Furthermore; she said it’s “extremely sad and disturbing that the Defendant would fabricate an entire series of defamatory allegations in his court documents.”
Thomas has also accused Kathryn of filming for primary custody of their kids as a storyline for Southern Charm. However; Kathryn said she waited to file this until filming had officially ended. Thomas also accused Kathryn of a hit and run of a parked car. Kathryn said that the video obtained was because he was hiring a private investigator to install hidden cameras at her house “for weeks at a time during several months in 2018.” Kathryn denies it as a hit and run, she said she “slightly grazed her neighbor’s car while backing out of a narrow parking space.” Kathryn feels this video is a violation of their current restraining order. Kathryn is also claiming that Thomas put a tracker on her car! However; Kathryn feels that no evidence has been gained by him doing this.
In addition, Kathryn is saying that there is a witness who claims he was “out partying with the use of cocaine on the night his son was born.” In November of 2018, Thomas filed a lawsuit against Bravo and Southern Charm producers and was seeking a judge stop them from showing unaired footage on the show. Thomas filed this during their custody battle. Kathryn filed for primary custody of their children last October.
Woah! I think that this situation is so sad. This is time consuming and draining for both of them. I hope they get everything sorted soon for the sake of their children! Kathryn doesn’t deserve to be followed by private investigators, nor have her car tracked. I don’t think Kathryn having primary custody is a bad idea at all, I think it would be a good thing. I definitely think they both should co-parent, though. Kids need both of their parents in the picture, if possible. I’m so ready for next season of Southern Charm to be on soon.
