Kim Richards ex-husband Monty Brinson has been fighting lung cancer for well over a year, and while Monty was given a death sentence, he continues to fight every day.
Monty, who is always optimistic and happy in his social media posts, revealed yesterday that he had been recently hospitalized.
While Monty says his “lung cancer results are great,” he also revealed that “something else has happened.” According to Monty this “something else” isn’t the “greatest news.”
Monty goes on to say “It’s not the greatest news but as you know my family always comes first so before I tell my adventure in the next post, everybody knows I’m a fighter, this just another fight which I will win.”
In his post on Instagram Monty also reveals that Kim’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-stars Yolanda and David Foster came to visit him while in the hospital; calling the couple “kind lovely people.”
Monty writes, “The reason for this post is because I feel bad that since last Friday I have received 100’s of phone calls and text that I have not responded back to and I always feel bad when I don’t return back the texts or calls. I know you’ll understand when I tell you why but I will explain in next post in detail. I’ve been in the hospital, first of all, my lung cancer results are great. But something else has happened which I’ll explain later. It’s not the greatest news but as you know my family always comes first so before I tell my adventure in the next post, everybody knows I’m a fighter, this just another fight which I will win. I’ve been surrounded by loved ones @kimrichards11 @terrilynndoss and my daughters. But I’m fine I always take a negative and turn it into a positive. Yesterday I got a surprise visit from @yolandahfoster and her wonderful husband David such kind, loving people. So this week I will back to all my calls and emails just a lot on my mind to deal with. So I wasn’t being rude. Despite this newest setback Monty continues to stay positive and says he will, “always take a negative and turn it into a positive.”
