Kyle Richards, Andy Cohen, and other Bravolebs share their thoughts on Crystal Minkoff’s exit from RHOBH. Get all the details!
On Tuesday’s episode of Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM radio show, Andy Cohen Live, the Watch What Happens Live host commented on Crystal Minkoff’s exit from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
“Oh, can I just say one more thing about Housewives news? I thought Crystal’s announcement that she wasn’t coming back, it was so, first of all, I mean, she looked like best ever, but second of all, it was just so eloquent and classy, I thought,” Andy stated. “I just, I was like, ‘Wow, that’s the way to do it.’ I just thought it was great.”
A day later, Kyle Richards shared her feelings on Crystal’s departure during an Amazon Live.
Kyle said “It made me sad” to hear Crystal won’t be returning for season 14.
“I have mixed feelings … not because of [Crystal]. It’s probably disappointing, but, also, life is great without reality television. It’s not like, ‘Poor Crystal.’ She has a great family. There’s a lot to say for not doing [reality TV,]” Kyle continued. “She’s going to be great.”

Other members of the Bravoverse also commented on Crystal’s time on RHOBH coming to an end.
“You’re gonna be missed. You’re a class act Crystal ?” Tamra Judge wrote while her RHOC co-star Heather Dubrow commented, “LOVE YOU CRYSTAL.”
RHOD alum Tiffany Moon wrote, “Thank you for sharing your life, family, and struggles with us. You were authentic, relatable, and funny AF. When one door closes, another opens. Here’s to bigger and better things in your future my love.”
“Will miss you happy for our friendship,” Garcelle Beauvais shared.
Crystal’s hubby Rob Minkoff, wrote a cheeky comment: “And I was really planning to “bring it” this season.”
On Monday, April 15, Crystal announced her departure from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after three seasons.
Crystal revealed the news in a video posted to her Instagram page.
“I just wanted to share the news that I will not be coming back to film season 14 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. It’s very bittersweet,” the 41-year-old said in her video post. “Never did I think I would have been asked to do the show in a million years, let alone film it for three seasons. Every single year I was asked back, it was a blessing. It was an honor.”
In the post, she noted that “being the first Asian American on Beverly Hills was a lot of weight on my shoulders.”
“I have since just have really understood the magnitude of what that meant for people,” she continued. “I just wanted to thank you guys for being such an incredible support for me, and I hope that I have been for you, sharing my story with my ED [eating disorder], sharing stories about my father and his Alzheimer’s. I’ve heard so many incredible stories from you guys.”
“But this is not goodbye, this is a see you soon,” she added. “I have some other things going on that I will be sharing with you soon that I’ll still be able to connect with you because at the end of the day, that is been my biggest gift of filming. This show is connecting with so many of you with your beautiful stories.”
Meanwhile, an insider recently revealed to Us Weekly that Crystal is “devastated” over being fired from ROBH.
The source explained, “She was fired because she didn’t deliver. Producers told her she doesn’t have a storyline, so they had to let her go.”
Crystal joined RHOBH in 2021 during season 11.
Production for season 14 of RHOBH reportedly begins in April.
RHOBH is expected to return to Bravo in late 2024 or early 2025.
