Dorit Kemsley opens up to Annemarie Wiley’s departure from RHOBH. Plus, new info about the season 14 cast emerges.
Turns out Annemarie Wiley isn’t the only one upset over her exit from RHOBH after only one season.
Dorit Kemsley addressed Annemarie’s exit, telling RadarOnline.com, “I feel for her.”
“I’m sad for her,” Dorit shared. “She’s unhappy and sad about it, I feel for her.” Despite Annemarie’s firing, Dorit thinks she “will go on to do great things.”
Last week, Annemarie announced that she was not asked back for season 14 of RHOBH.
On Instagram, the RHOBH newbie shared:
“I just got word today that I will not be returning to “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
To say that I’m disappointed is an understatement.
I never auditioned for this show. The show found me and asked me to be on it out of the blue 6 weeks after the cast had already started filming. I was thrown into filming 2 weeks later, mid-season. I was very excited about the opportunity, and I thought following exactly what I was instructed to do throughout filming last season was the way the “game was played.” Listening to what I was instructed to do was my rookie mistake. What I am disappointed about is that the fans never got to see the real me or even a glimpse of my unique life story… Contrary to what was shown on TV, I am not obsessed with the esophagus! LOL
What I am is a woman, a proud black woman, who is truly blessed with a wonderful strong black man as my husband who lifts me and our four wonderful children up with so much love and positivity on a daily. It was an important mission of mine for the next season to show a solid black family unit and that “true black love” exists, even in Beverly Hills… my struggle with losing my mother to lung cancer within weeks of taping, and my struggle with adoption trauma and what was going to be, and still will be, a new life journey for me to find my biological parents.
All of which was taped, but never shown last season…among other things.”
While Annemaire is out, her former co-stars still don’t know who will return for season 14 or if any newbie will be joining the cast.
Sources tell RadarOnline.com that “Kyle Richards, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, Garcelle Beauvais, Sutton Stracke, and Crystal Minkoff have not been informed about any possible cast shakeups despite filming presumably being picked back up next month.”
Another insider close to production reveals that “casting conversations are ongoing and final decisions have not been made.”
It turns out, per a source, that the RHOBH cast learned about Annemarie’s fate like the rest of the Bravoverse – on social media.
While no newbies have been confirmed yet, rumors are swirling that RHOBH alum Eileen Davidson’s name is being tossed around as a possible casting choice. It also predicted that Kathy Hilton will rejoin the season 14 cast a friend of the Housewives. Filming for season 14 is set to commence in late April.
