TheJasmineBrand reports that Robyn Dixon has been fired from the Real Housewives of Potomac amid a cast shakeup ahead of season nine.
Unlike Candiace Dillard, who announced her exit from RHOP on Monday, Robyn Dixon has yet to confirm or deny reports of her departure from the hit Bravo show.
On Monday, Candiace Dillard announced via PEOPLE that she is exiting the Real Housewives of Potomac after season 8.
“As I embark on a new chapter after six remarkable years with The Real Housewives of Potomac, I am filled with gratitude for the enriching friendships, personal growth, and moments of introspection that have defined this journey,” Candiace Dillard said in a statement. ”With a whirlwind of new opportunities and responsibilities on my plate, I have decided to take a break from RHOP.”
While Bravo has reportedly snagged Robyn Dixon’s champagne flute for season 9, she may make appearances on RHOP next season.
Sources also insist that Robyn may even return to the franchise in the future.
“The production, they are shaking things up with the cast,” said Jasmine Brand while co-hosting Way Up With Angela Yee on Monday. “I heard that they’re taking away three people from the show. Allegedly, Robyn Dixon is being put on hiatus, there’s Candiace, and there’s another person that won’t return.”
Along with Candiace and Robyn, season 8 of RHOP also starred Karen Huger, Gizelle Bryant, Mia Thornton, Nneka Ihim, Ashley Darby, and Dr. Wendy Osefo.
It’s unclear who may be the third Potomac Housewife on the chopping block. Who knows, Bravo could clear most of the Potomac roster by starting fresh and only keeping a few OGs. Only time will tell.
As for Robyn has been a staple on the Real Housewives of Potomac since the franchise’s inception in 2016. Over the years, Bravo fans have watched Robyn and her now-husband, Juan Dixon, navigate their financial issues and rekindle their romantic relationship.
Throughout the years, fans have watched Robyn and Juan’s relationship be their main storyline on the show, which included good and bad moments as well as lots of rumors about cheating.
Since becoming a Bravoleb, Robyn has tapped into her entrepreneurial spirit, creating several businesses, including her hat line Embellished and her and Gizelle’s Reasonably Shady podcast. She also co-founded a skincare line, GLO RX, and opened a GLO30 franchise, a subscription-based skincare studio in Maryland.
