Andy Cohen Dishes on Part 2 of RHOSLC Reunion; Reveals What Was Cut From Episode

RHOSLC cast poses with Andy Cohen at season 4 union.

Andy Cohen is spilling the tea on part two of the RHOSLC season 4 reunion while also revealing what got cut from the episode.

During a recent episode of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live, host Andy Cohen shared his reaction to part two of the RHOSLC season 4 reunion, which aired on Tuesday, January 16.

Andy Cohen and his SiriusXM co-host Jon Hill discussed part two of the RHOSLC season 4 reunion. Both John and Andy admit that they truly felt for Monica Garcia and her story.

Both were shocked to learn that Monica thought she “botched” her audition to join RHOSLC.

The 55-year-old was also bewildered by Monica’s claim that her mom, Linda Darnell, prayed to get cast on RHOSLC if Monica didn’t get the spot. However, he admits that he totally believes that Linda totally wanted a spot on the show, even if that meant her daughter not getting cast.

“I felt really bad hearing her story and especially, and I, believe every moment of her saying that when she thought that she botched her audition,” Andy said.

“They prayed for Monica to get on the show, and then the mother at the end of the prayer said, ‘And if you don’t get cast, let them cast me,’ and let me tell you something, I believe that with every fiber of my being and I believe, I just, my heart went out to Monica. I was like, ‘Oh, wow. That’s rough,'” the Watch What Happens Live host added.

Andy was also impressed with Mary Cosby, for coming “out guns blazing” and “accusing the Mormon Church for being racist.”

Turns out there’s also quite a bit that got cut from part two of the RHOSLC season 4 reunion and Andy is revealing what was left on the cutting room floor.

According to Andy, one of his close friends, who works at ABC News, told him that he messed up by not better referring Monica and Lisa Barlow’s war of words.

Andy says there’s no way he could “interrupt” Monica and Lisa as they were “at each other’s throats all day.”

“My friend Lynn Redmond, who’s an old friend of ours who I met when I was her intern at CBS News, she went on to have a long career at ABC News and she said, ‘I don’t think it was a good look that you didn’t interrupt Lisa and Monica,’ and I said, ‘Interrupt them when? They were at each other’s throats all day,'” he said.

Monica Garcia is in the hot seat at the RHOSLC season 4 reunion.

In fact, Andy says a lot of him attempting to wrangle in the RHOSLC cast when their fighting got to be too much was cut from part two of the reunion.

He explains:

“What was cut out is there are some people whose method of fighting is just to scream louder, keep talking, don’t take anything in and just keep moving forward like a Mack truck, and I would say that Monica is kind of that ilk and I was jumping in the whole day. You don’t see it because it wasn’t, you don’t want to see it. It got pretty heated throughout the day. Me telling them to stop, you know, and it’s like watching the teacher try to get control of a classroom. It’s not really the stuff you want to see on the show, so you don’t see it, but there is much herding of the women, and you know, speaking to them about trying to listen to each other. That is all on the cutting room floor.”

Part 3 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion airs on Tuesday, Jan. 23, at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.

They need to be treated like children with a warning or two when they start screaming back and forth and then time outs for 10 minutes if that doesn't work. The screamers couldn't stand to be stuck in the green room.
