RHOBH: Annemarie Wiley Could Be Demoted to a ‘Friend’ For S13 Amid Husband’s Rape Allegations

RHOBH newbie Annemarie Wiley is reportedly at risk of losing her season 13 diamond after her husband was accused of raping a woman in college.

*All the claims in this report are alleged – at this point in time.*

Bravo fans may have just met RHOBH newbie Annemarie Wiley during last week’s episode of season 13, but it seems her status on the show moving forward is currently up in the air.

“Annemarie was suppose to be on the latest episode intro with her tagline; however, production is unsure if she will be full-time,” a close source to production told @therealhousewiveszone.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 cast: Erika Jayne, Crystal Minkoff, Sutton Stracke, Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, Garcelle Beauvais, and Annemarie Wiley attend the Homeless Not Toothless Gala in Los Angeles.

The source noted:

“The decision is on a knife’s edge right now, but it looks like she will be demoted to Kyle’s friend.”

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills OG Kyle Richards introduced Annemarie to fans at her weed dinner party. Despite being the newbie’s debut episode, Bravo did not include Annemarie’s season 13 tagline in the opening credits.

The 40-year-old nurse anesthetist’s season 13 tagline is:

“I may put you to sleep for a living, but I always keep one eye open.”

RHOBH newbie Annemarie Wiley’s first-ever tagline.

Reportedly, “Bravo [doesn’t] want to be associated with the case against her husband, and although a decision about her status on the show has not been officially made, it’s not looking good.”

“The final decision is being made this week,” the source concluded.

As AllAboutTRH previously reported,  Annemarie Wiley‘s husband, Marcellus Wiley, was accused of raping a Columbia University student during his time at the school 29 years ago.

The female victim, now a professor and sociologist, filed a lawsuit in the New York Supreme Court. She accuses Marcellus Wiley of attacking her in the fall of 1994. At the time, Marcellus was a sophomore and the star running back for Columbia University’s football team.

In her filing, the victim alleged that Marcellus forced himself on her in her freshman dorm room. The two were friends, and the alleged incident occurred after Marcellus invited himself to her dorm room to eat dinner together and listen to music. The victim also says he ignored her verbal objections and robbed her of her virginity. The attack later drove the victim to attempt suicide.

The lawsuit was filed under the Adult Survivors Act, which is “a New York law that allows alleged sexual abuse victims whose claims are past the statute of limitations to file a civil suit for a one-year period, until Nov. 24.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.

If Annemarie cared at all about her husband, she'd leave the show now until this blows over. Whether he is guilty or not, he does not need to have this played out on TV, even a little bit.

LOL. Kyle is cursed, her family and her friends all hated (except Kathy). & now is the time to ReBOOT w/Kathy, LVP & new HWs. Pitch this dumpster fire out. Prove the viewers, right.

If all she is going to do is help Kyle (and Dorit and Erika) go after and run off Sutton, then who cares if they get rid of her.....

This is an allegation about something that happened 29 years ago. This has not been proven in a court of law. I'm sick of these people coming out decades later with their BS accusations to garner attention and ruin someone else's life. I say leave her on as a full time housewife and let the courts decide which is what they are suppose to do. Innocent until proven guilty. Period. BTW I dislike Kyle intensely but this crap has got to stop.
