Taylor Armstrong announces RHOC exit after just one season as cast friend. Plus, more season 18 casting news – find out who’s in and who’s out!
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills OG Taylor Armstrong is officially done with RHOC after just one season.
On Wednesday, Taylor Armstrong, who rose to fame starring in the first three seasons of RHOBH, announced she was leaving RHOC after one season on the show as a friend of the Housewives.
On Instagram, Taylor wrote:
“Loved spending time with the ladies of #RHOC and thankful I got to give the viewers an update on my life. I’ve made some real friendships that I cherish. Wishing the ladies all the best for season 18.”
The Bravoleb also playfully added that she is “adding season 17 to [her] IMDb,” paying homage to her RHOC season 17 drama with Heather Dubrow.
Several of Taylor’s RHOC co-stars flocked to the comments section to bid her farewell.
Tamra Judge wrote, “No, you will be missed, Taylor. #friendsforever.” On the other hand, Heather Dubrow commented that Taylor “will be missed” on RHOC.
RHOC newbie Jennifer Pedranti wrote, “I love you SO much,” while Andy Cohen commented, “BRAVO, Taylor.”
Meanwhile, Queens of Bravo reports that Heather Dubrow will return for season 18 of RHOC.
In fact, the entire Real Housewives of Orange County cast is expected to return for season 18, which will begin filming in early 2024. Season 17 starred Tamra Judge, Shannon Beador, Heather Dubrow, Gina Kirschenheiter, Emily Simpson, and Jennifer Pedranti. Taylor Armstrong also appeared as a friend of the Housewives.
Rumors are still swirling that Alexis Bellino will return to the Real Housewives of Orange County in some capacity for season 18. This gossip is pure speculation at this point, but the former OC Housewife has said she’d be open to returning to the show in some capacity.
“I’m definitely excited and proud to be associated with the network, and I’d never want to say never,” she told Page Six at BravoCon. “And I’ll leave it at that.”
Alexis was spotted at Kathy Hilton’s holiday event with Heather Dubrow. The two posed for a photo together, with Heather gushing that she “loved catching up with old friends…@alexis_bellino.”
When it comes to Vicki Gunvalson‘s future on the OC franchise, it remains up in the air. Vicki appeared as a guest throughout season 17 of the Real Housewives of Orange County, but she has since made it clear that she won’t return for another season unless she’s a full-time Housewife.
“It’s all in or nothing. It would have to be on my terms, and that means financially, too. I’m not gonna go back down. I left at a certain number. Either you bring that number back, or what’s the point?” Vicki said in October.
The Real Housewives of Orange County will return for season 18 in 2024.
