Luann went on to admit that she’s been asked about Shannon‘s DUI during her ongoing Countess Cabaret tour.

“The Shannon Beador thing [comes] up,” Luann admitted, noting that she’s been “thinking about” Shannon Beador since her arrest for DUI and hit-and-run last month.

“Look, when things happen like that, there’s only one way to go,” she added, pointing out that Shannon’s life can only go up after hitting rock bottom.

Why the compassion? The woman made a conscious decision to drive while intoxicated. Undoubtedly this is not the first time she has, just the first tome law enforcement caught her. She has been told numerous times, apparently, that she needs help and she has made the conscious decision not to seek it. And if her life is so overwhelming or she is so fragile, she should not be on a reality show but, again, she made the conscious decision to film this season. I cannot feel sorry for nor feel any compassion for someone who knowingly screws up her life so badly and in so many ways. Let us hope Luann is right and this is a wake up call for Shannon to finally deal with all her issues. But somehow I expect she will not take full advantage of the therapy (assuming she is in therapy) and that she will be right back on reality TV as fast as she can, recovered or not.
