Gina Kirschenhieter Breaks Her Silence on Shannon Beador’s DUI Arrest

Gina Kirschenheiter gets into heated fight with RHOC newbie.

Real Housewives of Orange County star Gina Kirschenheiter opens up for the first time about Shannon Beador’s recent DUI and hit-and-run arrest.

Throughout season 17 of the Real Housewives of Orange County, Shannon Beador repeatedly brought up Gina Kirschenheiter’s 2019 DUI, so it is not surprising that the 39-year-old has quite a bit to say about Shannon’s recent arrest for DUI.

“I think that we’re just gonna address the elephant in the room, right?” Gina said on the Wednesday, September 27, episode of her Orange County Official podcast with co-host Shane Mcanally.

“The irony of it is major. But honestly, really, at the end of the day, I’ve been thinking a lot about this and Shannon in general, and I just don’t have it in me. I’m not gonna kick someone when they’re down, and I’ve been down. And I know where she’s at right now. It’s not a good place to be mentally, emotionally.”

Gina went on to admit that she didn’t initially have sympathy for Shannon Beador after learning of her arrest. However, Gina says she quickly moved on from feelings of anger and jubilation over karma coming for Shannon.

“I feel bad for her. I’m not gonna lie to everybody and say I didn’t wake up and be like, ‘Oh shit. This is like a karma, you know?’ But then very quickly, and if I’m being very honest, very quickly, I moved past that. Then I got like angry about a lot of it for a minute. And then I really settled into appropriate sympathy for the situation and for her.”

As AllAboutTRH previously reported, Shannon was arrested for DUI and a hit-and-run on Saturday, September 16, in Newport Beach, California, after she drove her car into a residential property and “clipped the house.”

On Monday, September 18th, the news of Shannon’s arrest and DUI incident broke in the press and shocked the Bravoverse. Shannon reportedly broke her arm and hurt her face during the accident. She is currently recovering and planning to begin intensive therapy.

Shannon’s good friend Jeff Lewis recently revealed, on his Sirius XM show, Jeff Lewis Livethat the Bravo star is focused on healing – mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Shannon will enter intensive therapy, which is five days a week, all day long. Jeff worries that Shannon may get burnt out from such an intensive program, noting there is such a thing as “too much of a good thing.”

The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on Bravo.

"Jeff worries that Shannon may get burnt out from such an intensive program, noting there is such a thing as “too much of a good thing.” Oh, fuck off Jeff. You mean like too much of that filler in your carp lips? Shannon is in a life-or-death battle with alcohol. Clueless famewhores chiming in where trained professionals are needed. I'm glad I got to read Gina's response instead of having to listen to her voice.

Shannon is getting exactly what she deserves having put innocent people at risk with her drunk driving. She should be glad she did not kill someone and is not facing a murder charge. There is no way I believe Gina is not thinking the same thing, no matter how she sanitizes it to burnish her image.

She showed a lot of class. She would have been well within her right to go in hard on Shannon but she chose to take the high road.

I’ll give Gina credit where credit is due. That was honest, merciful, kind, compassionate and insightful. I’m not a fan of Gina but she could have gone in HAM with the ‘karma’ argument. Instead she was honest enough to admit there was a fleeting moment of that but understood the emptiness of kicking someone when they’re down. Good for you, Gina! ??
