Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard was “blindsided” when Carl Radke called off their engagement just two months before their wedding.
Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke‘s whirlwind romance suddenly ended when Carl broke off their engagement and left Lindsay “devastated.”
“It’s all so raw,” a source tells Us Weekly. “The dust hasn’t settled with it yet.”
On Thursday, news broke that Carl broke off his engagement with Lindsay on camera while filming season 8 of Summer House.
Lindsay was “blindsided” by Carl calling off their engagement just 2.5 months before they were set to marry in Mexico.
“He did call off the wedding on camera,” the source confirms. The source adds that it was “so mean” for Carl to break up with Lindsay on camera.
“A normal person who loves someone wouldn’t break up with someone they love on camera,” the insider says. “No matter how many problems you may have, you don’t do something like that on camera for the world to see their reaction.”
While Lindsay is “devastated,” the source notes that she and Carl “might get back together tomorrow.”
Fans will most likely get a front-row seat to all of Carl and Lindsay‘s post-split drama.
“The cast had already wrapped filming, and now they are picking it back up,” according to the insider.
Entertainment Tonight was the first outlet to confirm the news of Carl and Lindsay’s split.
“Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard have called off their engagement. The two were set to get married in November, but Carl told Lindsay he couldn’t move forward with the wedding. The breakup was filmed and will most likely play out on the next season of Summer House,” a source told the outlet on Thursday.
Last summer, the two moved into a beautiful two-bedroom, three-bathroom apartment in Manhattan. The $ 13,000-a-month apartment had many of their Summer House cast mates worried about all the big decisions the couple were making.
After the news of Lindsay and Carl’s split broke in the press, Page Six reported that the couple were together this past Sunday, hanging out with the Summer House cast at a Montauk hotspot. An eyewitness said, “They seemed fine.” But another source added that Carl and Linsday “are usually all over each other, and it didn’t look like that on Sunday.”
