Show her the MONEY! Porsha Williams could return to RHOA for season 16 IF Bravo gives her a major payday to do so!
“Bravo has been trying to get Porsha to come back to The Real Housewives of Atlanta for the possible cast shakeup, but she’s playing hardball,” a source tells Entertainment Tonight. “Bravo offered Porsha a lot of money to return, but she declined.”
The source adds, “Porsha is telling friends she wants to be the highest-paid Housewife on any franchise. Porsha could return, but as of now, she and Bravo have not come to an agreement.”
Last month, Porsha teased that she hasn’t closed the door on a possible return to RHOA.
“I mean, listen, it’s so [good] to be missed. I’ve never written it off; I’ve never talked down on the show. I will say I’ll never say ‘never,'” she told ET.
Porsha joined RHOA during season 5 in 2012. She starred on the show until her exit following season 13 in 2021. Since then, she’s appeared on Peacock’s Real Housewives Ultimate Girl’s Trip.
As we previously reported, the future of the Real Housewives of Atlanta is currently up in the air. Bravo is considering rebooting the RHOA franchise like the Real Housewives of New York.
“[It’s] all just conversations,” a source told Page Six. “Nothing official has been decided.”
A separate source told Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday that “a major shakeup is coming” to the Real Housewives of Atlanta. The current RHOA cast, which includes Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, Drew Sidora, Shereé Whitfield, Marlo Hampton, and Sanya Richards-Ross, have been warned to “expect a big change.”
“They hinted at a reboot like ‘New York’ got, but it also could be moving forward with only a couple of the current stars,” the source continued. “The cast is on edge about their future and has no idea where the network plans to go. Although their ratings are still strong, the network is listening to fans and their desire for a change.”
Love B Scott was the first to report that an RHOA reboot is in the works.
Part one of the Real Housewives of Atlanta season 15 reunion airs on Sunday.
