Teresa Giudice’s marriage to Louie Ruelas is A-Okay. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star addresses the latest rumors about her marriage head-on.
Real Housewives of New Jersey OG Teresa Giudice is shutting down rumors that her marriage to Louie Ruelas is anything but namaste.
Just ahead of Louie and Teresa’s first wedding anniversary, rumors popped up that the Bravo couple’s marriage was “on the rocks” and “shaky.”
Teresa Giudice addressed these rumors on Wednesday’s episode of her Namaste B$tches podcast, presented by PodcastOne.
“There’s no such thing,” Teresa said of the rumors that her marriage to Louie Ruelas is on “shaky” ground. “I love and adore him so much. Like, no. Nothing shaky. Maybe we shake together when we dance.”
When asked by co-host Melissa Feister if she would use this as a storyline for season 14 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, Teresa made it clear that would not be happening.
“No, and, believe me, I don’t play like that. I play like what’s really going on in my life. I don’t need a storyline. I have a lot going on. To us, everything is peaches and cream. It really is, because we’re still newlyweds,” she clarified.
As AllAboutTRH previously reported, an unnamed source recently claimed that Teresa and Louie’s marriage was “in trouble,” and that the honeymoon period of their relationship was “already over.”
“Their concern was that Louie had a shady past and saw Teresa as his meal ticket,” an insider told Life & Style magazine last week.
The source also claimed that “red flags” about Louie had begun to “surface,” which has the RHONJ OG’s co-stars “worried for Teresa.”
“His ego has blown up, and his true colors are starting to show. You can see it on RHONJ, he wants to take over the narrative of the series. Luis knows he hit the jackpot, and he’s ready to cash in. Teresa doesn’t want to admit it, but she sees some red flags,” the insider said before alleging that Louie isn’t very nice to his wife.
The insider added, “Privately, Luis has called Teresa ‘not that bright‘ to friends. There’s also buzz circulating that he has a third child out there that he hasn’t told Teresa about!”
Teresa and Louie met in 2020 while vacationing down the shore. They confirmed their relationship in November 2020 via a Facebook post.
In October 2021, the RHONJ couple got engaged. They tied the knot less than a year later, in August 2022.
