Now, it’s time to uncover all of Melissa Gorga‘s lies from part one of the Real Housewives of New Jersey. Trust us; there are quite a lot of them. Thankfully, reunion host Andy Cohen did call out some of Melissa’s lies, but he definitely could have dug a little deeper to expose the truth behind Melissa’s false claims.

Let’s do a deep dive into Melissa’s messy lies!

Melissa Backs Joe Gorga’s Claims about Louie Ruelas and David Cantin

During season 13 of RHONJ, Joe Gorga claimed that Dina Manzo and Teresa Giudice had a falling out over a business deal gone bad between Louie Ruelas and Dina’s husband, Dave Cantain.

“David [Cantin], called me because I’m friendly with David. Pizza Gate’ part two … and it f–ked up another relationship in Teresa’s life,” Joe alleged in his confessional interview.

This is NOT true.

Yet, Melissa Gorga doubled down on Joe’s claim at the reunion. Melissa said:

“[Joe] had a private conversation with Dave. He doesn’t wanna be part of the show, so that was wrong [of Joe.] Joe stepped out of line by saying that on the show.”

However, a conversation between Joe Gorga and Dave Cantin NEVER happened. Ever.

On the AllAboutTRH podcast, posted on Tuesday, April 4, AllAboutTRH confirmed that Joe’s claims were 100% a lie.

AllAboutTRH‘s RHONJ source said:

“Dave has met Joe Gorga once and that was at Teresa’s engagement party. He wouldn’t even consider himself friendly with Joe. And no one has ever called Dave, David like Joe did on the show. The allegation made by Joe Gorga is absolutely not true.”

Melissa Insists she and Joe Gorga Have ALWAYS helped the Giudice Family

Messy Melissa Gorga continued with her lies, insisting that she and Joe Gorga were there for Teresa Giudice, Joe Giudice, and their daughters when both Teresa and Joe were in prison.

Melissa claims she and Joe were “there for you when you needed us.”

She adds: “I had your back for the last 20 years when you needed me. When [Gia] needed a ride to college, Joe packed her up and took her to college. We were good then.”

Let’s not forget that Melissa and Joe previously claimed they “put food on their table” in regard to their role in the Giudice girls’ lives while Teresa was in prison.

Melissa also said that she was the one taking the girls to dance and other activities while Teresa was away. However, the Giudice girls don’t remember that at all.

During season 13, Gabriella Giudice called Melissa and Joe’s version of events “not true.”

Melissa Claims She Loves Her New House Despite Massive Overhaul

The Gorgas moved into their new Franklin Lakes home in late November 2022. Despite it being Melissa and Joe’s “dream” home, they quickly began reconstructing their home after receiving a ton of criticism on social media due to their home’s design and interior styling.

At the reunion, Melissa insisted she loves her new house and that she and Joe are still “doing a lot of work.”

“We’re not even done yet. We’re still doing a lot of work to the outside people. I’m the one that has to live there, so I don’t care what anybody says. I only moved into the house like two months ago.”

Yet, at the time of the reunion, Melissa and Joe had been living in their new house for five months – not two. Plus, they only started doing work on their home and changing the interiors after criticism started popping up on social media – not before.

While Melissa now claims she and Joe always planned to do this work to their home, the Bravo couple previously claimed they were “confident” in their design choices and didn’t care what people said. But then, in January 2023, they took out an additional $565k loan on their house to upgrade the new build.

In April, photos obtained by AllAboutTRH, show Joe and Melissa building a porch and an additional facade to the front of their house in an attempt to give the home more dimension.

Melissa Says She Never Talked about Teresa Giudice’s Daughters

At the reunion, Andy Cohen confronted Melissa Gorga about her and Joe talking about Gia Giudice and her sisters.

Andy pointed out that Melissa got upset that Teresa mentioned Antonia, but she and Joe have brought up the Giudice girls numerous times on the show.

He said, “You got very upset, and you said kids are off limits. But you guys have talks bout Gia,” to which Melissa replied, “No, we didn’t.”

Andy pushed back: “You said the kids have hate in their hearts.”

Melissa said: “They sat there at the party. They said what they said to me. You see all their reactions on TV this year.”

She went on to claim that she “would never throw [Teresa’s] children under the bus for that. Your children have missed plenty of events.”

First off, Melissa and Joe not only bad-mouthed the Giudice girls on the show and their podcast, but Melissa also claimed the girls had “hate in their heats.” Talk about ugly.

Then let’s not forget that during season 3 of RHONJ, Melissa slammed Teresa for allowing Gia to go to her gymnastics competition instead of attending Joey Gorga’s baptism. It’s important to note that Gia missed the church service but attended the baptismal party after her event.

Melissa quipped that in her house, “family comes first,” but she’s not sure what goes on in the Giudice household. She added that Teresa could have pulled Gia out of her gymnastics competition for the baptism. 

Meanwhile, during season 5, Melissa Gorga accused her nieces of being future bullies. Melissa said she feared for her daughter Antonia Gorga going to school with the Giudice girls as they get older, which is she and Joe were moving out of Montville.

At the time, Melissa said, “I don’t want my kids going to school with her kids.” Then during season 6, Melissa denied she and Joe were moving to get her kids away from Teresa’s kids.

“We did not move to get away from Teresa. The truth is Joe wanted to be closer to work, and Franklin Lakes is where Joe and I started our family,” Melissa said during season 6.

Melissa Claims Joe Gorga Wasn’t on Teresa Giudice’s Prison List

One of the most frustrating moments at the reunion was Melissa saying that Joe Gorga wasn’t on Teresa Giudice’s prison list until it was going to benefit her for Teresa Checks In.

Melissa quipped:

“Guess what? Because he wasn’t on the list. He wasn’t on the list until it was gonna benefit you for Teresa Checks In. Then he was suddenly on the list.”

However, on Teresa Checks In, Joe Gorga told a different story, claiming that it took him six months to get approved to be put on the list due to paperwork.

Teresa previously explained that Joe Gorga only came to visit her once in prison. Joe only came to visit when it would benefit him and make him look good to RHONJ viewers.

“My brother came to see me one time, and guess why? The cameras were rolling. He got paid for it. I’m getting the chills out of saying that because that’s heart-wrenching. He came to see me one time,” Teresa revealed in a March 2023 interview with Access Hollywood’s Housewives Nightcap.

Melissa Says that She and Joe Gorga have been Teresa Giudice’s ONLY Storyline on RHONJ

Part one of the reunion ended with Melissa Gorga saying that she and Joe have been Teresa’s only storyline for years.

Melissa said:

“Stop with the storyline. You wouldn’t even [have a storyline without me and Joe]. Your whole story was walking about your brother in every scene. You should thank us for giving you something.”

This is rich coming from Melissa, who rode Teresa’s coattails for the last ten years and made their drama her only good storyline season after season.

Over the years, Melissa Gorga has had no other storyline but her drama with Teresa. After her popstar storyline fizzled out, Melissa moved on to fake storyline after storyline. Let’s list them out – Long lost sister? Check. Another baby? Check. Fake marriage issues? Check.

The only good storylines Melissa ever had were her singing, her drama with Teresa, and the opening of her boutique Envy.

Teresa, on the other hand, had a baby, got divorced, shared her family’s legal and financial troubles, went to jail, got divorced, got married, and so much more on the show.

Part two of the RHONJ season 13 reunion airs on Tuesday, June 6, at 8 pm.

Considerations to the reunion issues… -Melissa and Teresa should stop arguing who cares more about each others children. They both care and are just playing gotcha. -Melissa and Joe did not do a ton for Joe and the girls while Teresa was in jail because the fighting was still bad then between Melissa and Teresa (when she left for prison). Joe and Melissa let the public think differently for years because of the Bravo special, good pr for them, but the girls have cleared the record now and the public should let it rest.. But it does not mean Melissa and Joe did not care from afar and both would of helped if there were emergencies. Both sides should drop it. - It was very nice 2-3 years later when they all were getting along better, Joe helped drive Gia to her first college trip, about an hour drive, set up her room, etc.. . This was very nice of her uncle to help her this day absolutely. But Melissa should not make a one afternoon favor more than it is considering all what Teresa was doing at this same time frame in the family…Her father was not doing well by this time and was in an out of the hospital every month (his bleeding and dizziness issues) and Teresa was spending days at the hospital over night with her Dad at this time. You can check back this season, and her and the girls posts asking for prayers, etc. Teresa and Joe’s father passed that early spring of Gia’s first year of college. So each sibling helps as they should with different things they are good at, and they should not keep holding things over each other heads as gotcha’s. Teresa and Melissa should let the issues put and move on. Fans too.Let it go. - Andy brought this up…Bravo should bring Laura, Marge’s friend on the show next season to shake it up. If they can bring Teresa’s family on the show to play gotcha all these years, why not Marge’s turn. Laura has done quite a few interviews and podcasts that have been very interesting. It can’t be wealth holding it up, because I am not seeing much overwhelming wealth in Rachael or Danielle , and after all of Marge’s business trademark lawsuits she has lost a bunch. - If not Laura, how about someone from Melissa’s past on to the show. On a recent podcast her Maid of Honor or something has a beef with her, some lifelong friend, could you twist it up. Have to make it fresh again. They all deserve time in the hot seat and a different type of storyline.

We don’t know if they helped or not. Teresa is not a honest person. Her lack of honesty & integrity is one of the reasons she went to jail aka camp. Teresa has hated for over 18 years. This author & website has always been Pro Teresa hate on melissa. The list is endless with people that Teresa had conflicts with. Even now Teresa, blames other people for her going to jail not the fact that she and Joe committed crimes, which begs to ask does Teresa think they should’ve just gotten away with it?

I don't really care if its Pro-Tre or Pro-Mel. Tre did her time, her ex was sent far away, her kids paid for her stupid mistakes and illegal activities. Melissa is just as dumb to fight and marry a fool and the SHOW never calls Messy out on her BS. So I'll watch a character with stories. I don't like Erikunty on BH cause that greed is just stealing from innocent victims. Tre has paid govt and restitution (not approving of her lies, but she done the time and is as respectable as Martha Stewart). The SIL sniper from the side and Marge have OLE (Old Lady Envy) and Marge's Ozempic is the least of her Skeltons. I say bring anyone on (even Melissa or Marge) if they have REAL stories to tell. Periodt.

But Tre has not learned from her mistakes or accepted any responsibility for them. She has anger issues and every season there is a target of Teresa’s wrath. The list is lengthy regarding everyone Teresa has had issues with. Who can forget Teresa bringing other grown women with her to confront Kim D? That was straight out of middle school. Why did the other ladies need to be there? Are we getting some more new housewives next season to join Teresa’s clique against Margaret? I will pass

Teresa will never learn and I don't have any expectations for her. However, she is much more watchable than OLE Marge. Yes, the fights and the mean girls same old same old is boring. But, what has Melissa or Marge added to this show to WATCH. Tre time might be up, but Melissa was ovah sooo many seasons ago and Marge just deflects from her own dirty history.

Yes we do know because it is not Teresa who has said this, it is the girls, Gia, Gabriella who were the ones that were THERE who have stepped up and said this is what happened. Gia was in HS at the time and Gabriella middle school. They have said it was their grandparents and their father’s side of the family that helped them day to day, and then Gia. They have clearly said Melissa and Joe helped the week of the Bravo taping but that was the only time they spent at Melissa’s house. In fact Gia had spoke up about it the year right after Teresa came home. So it is not Teresa saying it..she was not there. It is the girls speaking their truth of what they lived. They are not liars. Teresa is not the only one with court judgements against her. Bravo just hasn’t featured it. Joe has current lawsuits against him right now. In addition, he was reprimanded in 2019 for using other contractors and designers work on his online web site/Instagram and claiming it as his own work. The design businesses sued when Joe would not remove it voluntarily, and Joe was required to remove all the work that was not his off his own site/ads ( Can Google it ran Nj newspapers/Page Six) So Joe G. has trouble being honest too. This issue from years back needs to be settled.

They lied on camera. Period. I'm watching old seasons where I could have made a long list already and that is just a snippet of reality over 5 years. In their defense, there is no way they will remember 95% of it because it was expected and normal stuff that kids expect and take for granted. (More so with spoiled, privileged kids.) A lot of it was helping Teresa. Joe was the first one she called when she needed something. Some of it was helping Joe because he didn't have a driver's license because he was an irresponsible sleaze. They reached out and no way did they ever say no when any of them asked for something. It was normal and expected and Gia especially comes across like an ungrateful liar. Just like mommy dearest.

You don’t know if the girls are lying or parroting what their mother wants them to say. Both Teresa & Joe Guidice are convicted felons for lying on applications to obtain money fraudulently. So I can’t be sure that they are not apples from the same tree. I will say that Teresa should have never involved her young daughters in her issues with her brother. Do you really think Teresa admitted to all the drama she has stirred up to try and drive a wedge in her brother’s marriage? A good brother would say nothing back to his nieces regarding sibling issues. That is separate from his relationship with them & the cousins relationships.

I know they helped from watching old seasons for the first time. They had to help and they were expected to. It was a total of almost five years. They weren't going to say no when they needed something. There is enough just on camera to show it and that was only a small percent of reality. Those girls aren't going to remember 95% of it because they expected it and it was just normal basic stuff that parents do for (entitled) kids! Teresa leaned on Joe hard. Guidice did, too, because he didn't have a license to drive because he is a sleaze and a criminal.

Sounds like a case of "alternative facts" with most of this article. A "source"? There really isn't one confirmed "lie" at the reunion. The not talking about Teresa's daughters was true. This season was the first time she did and that was because of their actions and words publicly. So what. The worst one is over 21.

The Gorgas work for Bravo and are pulling in around $1.5mill a season from the show (per BTVR). I assume they're credit is good right now. BUT, what happens IF the Gorgas get fired? Can they pay back that amount? I think that's what September was getting at. She didn't mention anything about their credit.

No doubt they'll have to live within their means and make changes. I'd guess they have already started. Teresa doesn't have that much to start with and now Luis is mooching off her. She doesn't even own a home. The house that is in an LLC only shows Luis' name and he did that before they were even engaged. She is desperate and it shows. Oh well.

Melissa has a net worth listed on multiple sites of 3 million and Teresa has one of 1/2 million. That doesn't count Joe. Teresa has filed bankruptcy once and convicted of felonies involving fraud and theft. She doesn't even own any real estate. She is probably repeating the same pattern that landed her in prison.

What did Teresa have exactly? Her on-camera verbally abusive criminal ex-husband? I think Melissa will pass on that ? All Teresa’s storylines have been about feuds/arguments. With Caroline/Jaqueline, then Kathy/Rosie, always with Melissa and Joe. She is one big conflict!
