Kathy Hilton‘s time on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has come to an official end.

Radar Online reports that the fan favorite kathy hilton is officially NOT returning to RHOBH for season 13. Filming for season 13 of RHOBH wrapped last week with Kyle Richards’ epic and infamous white party.

We now learn that Kathy did NOT film any scenes for season 13 of RHOBH. Let’s dig into why Kathy decided to stay away from the Bravo cameras this year.

A source close to the RHOBH cast reveals:

“Kathy [Hilton] has been busy filming Paris In Love Season 2 and did not have the time to film both. She also doesn’t want to fight with Kyle [Richards] on camera.”

The insider notes:

“Kathy wanted to keep away from Kyle [Richards] and did not want to drag Kim [Richards] into their ongoing feud.” 

Kyle and Kathy‘s sister Kim, who is an RHOBH OG, was spotted filming for several events during season 13 of RHOBH. Kim’s role on the show for season 13 is unknown. She may be simply popping up as a guest or may have a more substantial role as an official friend of the Housewives.

Despite Kathy Hilton not returning to RHOBH for season 13, she and Kyle are taking baby steps to one day reconciling. The two recently attended a bridal shower for Kim’s daughter, Whitney Davis, where they posed together for several group photos. This is progress considering the two have barely spoken since filming the RHOBH season 12 reunion in October of 2022.

The source said:

“Kathy did recently see Kyle a few weeks ago and kept things civil at a bridal shower for their niece [Kim Richard’s daughter] Whitney.”

The tension between Kyle and Kathy stems from the drama that took place during the season 12 cast trip to Aspen, CO. The drama, which mostly occurred off camera, seemed to start when Lisa Rinna decided to drink Kendall Jenner’s 818 Tequila over Casa Del Sol tequila, which the Hilton family are investors in. Kathy felt snubbed and got angry at Kyle for not defending her.

Later on that night, the ladies headed to the Caribou Club, where Kathy began to unravel, accoridng to reports. Rinna decided to take Kathy home when she had a huge meltdown. Claims about this meltdown were then leaked to the press, making Kathy look bad. She later apologized to Rinna for her behavior, but no one ever confirmed what really went down behind the scenes in Aspen.

Erika Jayne and Lisa Rinna refused to stop speaking about Kathy’s meltdown, which upset Kyle. Eventually, the drama was rehashed at the season 12 reunion. Kathy and Kyle’s sitdown ended in tears and with their relationship on rocky ground.

RHOBH is expected to return for season 13 in late 2023.

Yeah Kathy comes across fake & shallow. Didn’t she threaten not to return if Rinna did? I think that children are a reflection of their parents. Sometimes good families have bad apples but Paris and her brother Conrad are examples of their parents values & integrity’s. I have not seen Kim or Kyle’s kids running wild like the Hilton kids. Paris has a stepdaughter however nothing has been mentioned. Its like the child doesn’t exist. Why is that? As a mother don’t you feel sympathy for that child? That’s her son’s sibling. When both of his parents are gone, that is his family. So wrong !!! I think Kathy wanted to control the narrative of her persona. Kathy doesn’t come off as a sympathetic person, kind of like Camille. You feel sorry for them until they remind you how unlikeable they are. Both of her sisters are more famous than Kathy. Kathy is famous for who her daughters are & what they did when they were in their teens & early adulthood.

I sometimes found Kathy quite amusing, and yet at other times she was quite vile. I can't stand Kyle either. I used to really like Kyle but she took a very bad turn when she turned on LVP. LVP was the one person who was actually a real friend of hers but she didn't/wouldn't realise it. I lost all respect for her when she got on the Rinna mean girl wagon. Anyway, I won't really miss Kathy.

I enjoyed Kathy on the show. She was one of my favorite ones. Kathy is rich and over the show. I don't blame her. Kyle treats her sisters bad just for tv. Kyle is a snake and a horrible sister. Mauricio is no better laughing at Garcelle sons being attacked by a middle aged pop singer and saying he is glad Ericka cussed them out. They are both sad. I am glad Rinna lips is gone. I could barely watch this past season because of her disguisting behavior. Overall this cast needs to be revamped.

BH needs a pause and a reshuffle. Add Kathy, LVP, Camille and cut Kyle, Erika and Dorito. The Faux Five are yesterday and BH needs fresh blood desperately. If this reshuffle doesn't get ratings then complete reboot with younger HWs.

Rinna was undoubtedly taking some things out of text and exaggerating her claims that she was "traumatized" by KH, but I believed everything she said. Hilton has been a well known witch and a snob for decades, and we saw her in action with our own eyes when she went on that weird rant over her tequila brand in Kemo Sabe' in Aspen. But aside from that, I just thought she was annoying.

You protect your sister at all costs. Rip her apart in private, stand behind her in public. Kyle does not do that for either of her sisters because she is jealous of both of them and always has been. She is so Vyle.

Kyle has always played innocent and then is actually a sniper. I don't think Kathy Hilton is interested in being a full time case member as she rather come and go as she pleases.

Kyle could not handle that Kathy was more popular than her on RHOBH and clearly refused to reconcile with her sister before taping making a path way so much easier for Kathy to return to the show. Kyle is loving that Kathy did not return. It will greatly hurt BH this season. What a terrible move by Bravo. They should have cut Kyle and brought back Kathy frankly. Adding back Camille or Denise for a whole season could have made up for losing Kathy, but Kyle could not handle that either and the most she would allow for them was not even friends this season but just a few appearances because they too are too popular for her liking. Kyle’s jealousy over other cast members being more popular than her and her insistence on being the Queen of Bev Hill, notice the new cast addition is once again her friend, is going to destroy this franchise.

Kyle destroyed the show when she started the gang ups on the other cast members years ago, I seen it when she started bad mouthing Lisa with Taylor. Kyle does it ever season, she gets others to do her dirty work and stands back then tries to make out like she didn't have anything to do with it, starts crying making the other feel sorry for her, she will lie twist the truth .

It seems Kyle has nothing unless she has one of her sisters there. I think Kyle is a gaslighter and the sniper form the side that Erica accused LVP of.
