More Crystal Minkoff money, more Crystal Minkoff problems.

Crystal Minkoff, along with her husband, Rob Minkoff, and her brother Jeffrey Kung, is being sued over a car accident they are accused of causing.

According to TMZ, Candice Shahandeh-Rad claims that last November, she was stopped, in her Audi, on the off-ramp of a Los Angeles freeway when she was “suddenly and violently” rear-ended. This resulted in Shahandeh-Rad hitting the car in front of her.

Legal documents say that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star’s brother was behind the wheel at the time of the accident. Shahandeh-Rad claims that Kung “admitted he was distracted” however, the why or the how was not mentioned in the documents.

While Crystal and her husband weren’t in the car at the time of the accident, Shahandeh-Rad believes they own the car or employ Kung as a driver.

During the accident, Shahandeh-Rad claims she, as well as her vehicle, suffered injuries and damage.

Shahandeh-Rad is suing the Minkoffs and Kung for “pain and mental suffering, anxiety and loss of enjoyment of life” as a result of the accident.

When we posted this news on the AllAboutTRH Instagram, Bravo fans had quite a bit to say about this lawsuit.

“Suing someone for “loss of enjoyment of life” is wild,” one fan commented.

“I saw the damage to the back of that lady’s car…where it was so violently hit…I’ve got bigger scratches on my arm from itching,” a second fan wrote.

A third commented, “Violently rear-ended, and the back of your car looks normal? Cash grab anyone?”

“That’s ridiculous. They are suing cuz they have money! End of story,” a fourth fan said.

Another fan noted, “It’s a money grab and traffic situation- gonna take make more than that to make a storyline much less a lawsuit.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will return to Bravo in mid to late 2023.

Suits like this are often needed to extend the negotiation period with an insurance company. This will settled by the insurance companies involved. It is just a process to go through

Dude people in California will sue you for anything. It is a culture and way of life here. Yes I live in California and my ex is an attorney and it is just ridiculous how people will sue especially if they think you have money. This woman is pathetic.

Loss of enjoyment of life is a catch-all in personal injury/negligence lawsuits that basically covers a plaintiff (person injured) from any other possible injury they suffered from that is not specifically alleged. In some instances, the person's attorney will just allege loss of enjoyment of life without any actual basis. Also, Crystal's insurance should provide her an attorney and they will handle it. This is not as big a deal as the media would like you to think. 1. this is why we all have or should have automobile insurance. 2. car accidents happen all the time. 3. the language used to describe this rear-end is boilerplate, as is most things in a Complaint.
