They say a photo is worth a thousand words, which is precisely the case regarding Joe and Melissa Gorga‘s recent claims about their time at the MTV Movie Awards with Teresa Giudice and Louie Ruelas.
On last Tuesday’s episode of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, Melissa, and Joe said their experience with Teresa and Louie at the MTV Movie Awards was “sad” because of Joe’s strained relationship with Teresa.
“I felt bad for you that day, “ Melissa told Joe. He agreed, telling her, “We were sitting at a table – two kids from Patterson; we grew up in the hood with a shoemaker as a dad. We are at this amazing event together, and we can’t even get on a red carpet and take a picture. It’s sad.”
“Our parents are looking down on us [and] they are heartbreaking. What a disgrace,” Joe added.
AllAboutTRH shared the photos and a clip from episode two of RHONJ on our Instagram. The post caught Teresa’s eye; she needed to clarify one of Joe’s comments about their childhood.
“Full disclosure: we did not grow up in the hood,” Teresa wrote.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST.
