Melissa and Joe Gorga are reality TV veterans but that doesn’t mean that the rumors sometimes don’t cut too close to home.
As we previously reported Joe and Melissa skipped Teresa Giudice’s wedding to Louie Ruelas in early August after cheating rumors about Melissa were unearthed at the finale party for season 13 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey. At the MTV VMAs Melissa and Joe addressed the “rumors” while chatting with Us Weekly.
“Almost definitely the rumors… There’s a lot of rumors that come out about me, and you know what? We just keep hitting ’em, swatting ’em like flies, [and] they just keep coming,” Melissa admitted when asked what the greatest test RHONJ has placed on her marriage to Joe.
Joe and Melissa then revealed they haven’t spoken to Teresa since she said ‘I do’ on August 6.
“It’s been tough,” Joe confessed. The interviewer then asked the RHONJ couple: “What would it take to get you and Teresa back on track, and do you foresee that happening?”
“We don’t know. That’s a very long answer,” Melissa said before Joe added, “Let’s see what the future holds.”
A source tells the gossip outlet that Melissa and Joe’s relationship with Teresa may never recover from this latest drama.
“Teresa may not forgive Joe after this and vice versa,” a source told Us Weekly of the Melissa and Joe’s decision to skip the wedding.
The insider also noted that the Gorgas are “not going to fake their relationship from here on out.”
RHONJ will return for season 13 in early 2023.
