NeNe Leakes Drops Lawsuit Against Bravo and Andy Cohen

NeNe Leakes has dropped her lawsuit against Andy Cohen, Bravo, and the network’s parent company, NBCUniversal.

According to Page Six, the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum filed a motion on Friday to dismiss the lawsuit against her former employer “without prejudice.” This means that NeNe can re-file the lawsuit at a later date if she chooses to do so.

Andy, Bravo, and NBCUniversal agreed not to “seek recovery of costs or attorneys’ fees,” per the court documents.

This comes two months after reports that NeNe was in negotiations with Andy, Bravo, and NBCUniversal to settle the lawsuit.

Despite the potential negotiations in her lawsuit, the RHOA alum stood by her claims on social media.

In July, she slammed “abusers” who “want power over their victims.”

“Everybody can see what they did to me! Nobody is stupid!” NeNe tweeted, she added, “This treatment has been going on for yearssss!”

She also alleged that Andy stopped her from getting work and was “blacklisted” by him and Bravo.

“He stopped me from working because I was a threat to his career!” NeNe alleged. “Yet he was able to abuse me for years. I want to release these voice recordings so bad.”

NeNe and her rep have yet to comment on dropping the lawsuit. Stay tuned for more on this developing story.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs on Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
