She’s still Gone With the Wind fabulous! A new report reveals that Kenya Moore will be returning for the RHOA season 16 reboot! Get all details!

Love B Scott confirms that Kenya Moore will officially be returning for the 16th season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Kenya will join former RHOA co-star Porsha Williams. As of now, these two former peaches are the only prior cast members who have been asked back so far.

Rumors of Kenya’s return for season 16 was first reported by The Neighborhood Talk.

Casting for new peaches has been underway for months with production realizing that Bravo fans would respond better to a Real Housewives of Miami style reboot featuring a few familiar faces mixed in with new ladies instead of a complete overhaul like the Real Housewives of New York franchise received.

Production has yet to solidify the official season 16 cast but the new ladies will be reportedly receiving their peaches over the next few weeks.

Kenya Moore and Porsha Williams have a long history on the Real Housewives of Atlanta.

In February, Porsha announced her return to RHOA for season 16. She also signed a deal with NBCUniversal for “scripted project opportunities across the company’s broadcast and streaming properties.”

“I’m incredibly thankful for the vision and faith NBCUniversal has put in me to be a larger part of their family,” she said in a statement at the time. “I’m looking forward to being back on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and showing the world my new world!”

The fan favorite starred on RHOA for nine seasons before announcing her exit from the franchise in September 2021. She joined the RHOA cast during season 6 in 2013.

Meanwhile, Andy Cohen has said there is “wonderful casting” happening for season 16 of RHOA while encouraging Bravo fans not to believe every rumor they hear.

Porsha and Kenya are back for season 16 – who else will round out the cast?

On top of that, Andy admitted that he’s “feeling very positive about the new season of Atlanta.”

As for season 16 as a whole, Andy says fans are really going to enjoy what Bravo has been cooking up with casting.

“I said last week on the show that we’ve got wonderful casting. We’ve got some amazing new gals, and I’m feeling very positive about the new season of Atlanta, so just stand by, and you will hear more. I will say there’s a lot of rumors out there that are not true about what’s to come, and you’ll hear more when there’s something to be said, but we’re so excited, and we’ve kind of been doing a dance.”

The Real Housewives of Atlanta is expected to return for season 16 in 2024.

Was there ever a doubt that Kenya would return? Obviously, casting is important, but I think the problem (with the entire series) goes way beyond casting. "Rebooting" with a new cast is only putting a band-aid on a much bigger problem. The concept is stale and predictable, and simply adding new faces to a formula that's not working is just stupid. As the expression goes, once a housewife, always a housewife, so with over a hundred housewives in the pool to choose from, I would rotate a different or 6 (from past seasons) every season. Doing this would also keep the high salaries at bay, and the egos in check. Your welcome Andy.
