The rumors aren’t true, folks!
Bravo insiders are warning fans to take the recent casting rumors about the Real Housewives of New York reboot with a grain of salt.
According to multiple insiders, the casting rumors about the RHONY reboot that are floating around social media are not true.
Rumor has it that Elizabeth Savetsky, Orfeh, Ubah, Shermin Lakha, Sai De Silva, and Tiffany Reid have been cast in the upcoming RHONY reboot, but it turns out that is not the case.
Entertainment Tonight‘s Brice Sander warns: “Don’t read too much into those #RHONY casting “confirmations” floating around today — they’re just rumors.”

Brice went on to reveal that Bravo has not yet locked down a cast for the reboot and that filming won’t begin in September as previously reported.
He added: “I’ve heard a cast is *not* locked in yet, and filming likely *won’t* start in September.”
On the other hand, PEOPLE‘s Dave Quinn tweeted, “One of my favorite things about the Housewives universe are the women who leak their supposed casting to tea sites/fan accounts/the press, even though they haven’t actually been cast, just to sit back collecting followers the truth is exposed. Thirst at its best.”

Meanwhile, model Orfeh also shut down rumors she was joining the RHONY reboot.

As for fans, they have quite a bit to say about the casting rumors. Let’s just say they are super happy the rumors aren’t true.
“Thank goodness because that wasn’t enticing,” one fan quipped.
A second fan said: “Don’t think I will be watching a whole new cast! Doesn’t matter who they are!”
“I like the OG RHONY from a few years ago-won’t watch a stupid reboot!” a third fan commented.
“I could see 3 or 4 of them as full-time cast members with Leah, Eboni, Heather, and/or LuAnn. and the rest of them as part-time cast members,” another fan wrote.
