Ooof, things are getting ugly in the Garden State!
Melissa and Joe Gorga did NOT attend the wedding of Teresa Giudice and Louie Ruelas on Saturday, August 6.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey couple “were invited” to the wedding, but a recent incident seems to have caused a major rift in the Gorga/Giudice family.
“They were invited,” an insider tells Page Six, adding, “There was a very tense ‘Housewives’ finale filmed earlier this week.”
When it comes to that “tense” Housewives finale, rumor has it a cheating allegation came to light that night which caused some major drama between Melissa, Joe, Teresa, and Louie.
According to reports, Melissa and Joe decided not to attend Teresa and Louie’s wedding after Joe and Louie got into a heated argument while filming the finale episode of season 13 last week.
At the event, a cheating rumor came to light thanks to newbie Danielle Cabral, who brought it up on camera. The rumor was originally told to Teresa and Jennifer Aydin off-camera by Margaret Josephs’ former BFF Laura Marasca Jensen, who is not on the show.
It’s unknown how Danielle found out about the rumor or why Louie got involved in the drama.
As for the rumor, it involved Melissa allegedly cheating on Joe. According to a claim, a friend allegedly caught Melissa making out with a married man in a car during a night out in NYC.
After being caught, the man “quickly shut the door and told Marge. They agreed to never speak about it again since Melissa and [the man] are both married,” a source alleged.
Marge then told her former BFF, Laura, who eventually spilled the beans to Jennifer and Teresa after her falling out with Marge.
The source notes: “Teresa wanted nothing to do with the info. She just wanted peace before her wedding.”
Meanwhile, Joe and Melissa threw shade at Teresa on the eve of her wedding.
“BLOOD DOESN’T MAKE YOU FAMILY,” Joe wrote in an Instagram Story featuring a photo of him with Melissa’s side of the family.
Melissa, on the other hand, shared a video of her family with the caption: “God blessed me with an amazing family.”

RHONJ will return for season 13 in late 2022 or early 2023.
