Ashlee Holmes is taking back her recent claims about her husband, Pete Malleo. The former Real Housewives of New Jersey staple took to Instagram on Thursday to apologize for the recent comments she made about Pete amid their divorce.

“There is so much I have to say. First and foremost that Pete did NOT cheat,” Ashlee said in the lengthy post, “Regardless of the emotional rollercoaster that is a divorce journey, Pete and I will ALWAYS be partners in life.”

“I will always support Pete and cheer him on,” she continued. “His success is our son’s success. We will ALWAYS be a family. We will ALWAYS be there for each other. Nothing and no one could ever break that. Period.”

This post is far cry from the recent claims Ashlee made about her soon-to-be ex-husband.

Earlier this week Ashlee ranted on her Instagram that Pete cheated on her and that she was now single.

“My husband is busy f–king some busted looking whore,” she wrote.

Now Ashlee admits her comments were “embarrassing for everyone involved.”

“I was hurt and my anger came from the fact that although separated, it has only been 3 months since we have broken up,” she explained. “We were together for YEARS and I just didn’t understand how he could start dating someone so quickly.”

Ashlee says that she and Pete have since made a pact to communicate better with each other so that neither of them is “off guard” again, which Ashlee says was the case with Pete’s new flame.

“I have since spoken to this woman and let me tell you, she is actually very kind,” she wrote. “I feel awful.”

The former couple share son Cameron, 5. The two tied the know in August 2018 but split two years later in 2020. Ashlee and Pete reconciled earlier this year before calling it quits for good in August 2021. They filed for divorce in October 2021.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey will return to Bravo in February 2022.
