A big old dose of karma? That’s what Jackie Goldschneider thinks!
In a new interview with Page Six, Jackie says that “karma” came back to bite costar Teresa Giudice with the rumors about her fiancé, Louie Ruelas which came to light nearly a year after the Real Housewives of New Jersey OG spread rumors that Jackie’s husband was having an affair.
As you probably recall, Teresa spread unconfirmed gossip that Jackie’s husband Evan Goldschneider was cheating on her during a birthday party for the NJ businessman.
“I feel like karma kind of came right in and did a little work and I just got to sit back,” Jackie said. “Teresa clearly spread a rumor [about me and my family] and now there’s a barrage of rumors about the person that she loves.”
“I don’t want anything bad for Teresa,” Jackie insisted before noting, “I think she’s getting a taste of it now.”
Over the last year, Louie’s ex-fiancée Vanessa Reiser filed legal action against him. In the lawsuit, she claimed he would become “incensed” if they didn’t have enough sex to please him. They later settled the lawsuit out of court.
Around that same time, it was revealed that Louie was arrested for simple assault in 2018 following a road rage incident.
“Only Teresa knows what happens behind closed doors. So we can read everything we want, but if she’s the one spending all this time with him and she’s comfortable with him and she thinks that he’s a great guy, then you have to let everybody live their own lives,” Jackie said.
“For me, I don’t know how comfortable I would be if there were a lot of stories about someone’s past. But people change, so I don’t know,” she continued. “She’s the one that knows him better than anyone, so you have to trust her judgment.”
Jackie went on to say that Teresa is a “grown woman” and believes that nothing “dangerous” has occurred in Teresa’s relationship with Louie.
“They’ve been together for a while now,” she said. “So I’m just going to let her do her thing and not worry for her.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey will return Bravo in early 2022.
