Teresa Giudice is engaged to her boyfriend Luis “Louie” Ruelas after a little over a year of dating!

Louie popped the question to the Real Housewives of New Jersey star at the Amanzoe Resort in Porto Heli, Greece on Tuesday.

“It was absolutely exquisite,” a source tells PEOPLE. “The choreographed fireworks display illuminated a ‘Marry Me’ sign as Louie got down on one knee. Teresa was completely surprised.”

Teresa’s longtime friend Dina Manzo and her husband Dave Cantin were present for the over-the-top proposal which included sparklers, candles, roses, a violinist, and fireworks.

The foursome celebrated until 5 a.m. by drinking champagne and dining on a variety of local foods including lobster, sea bass, and lamb chops.

Teresa and Louie went public with their romance in December 2020 after first being linked the prior month. However, they initially started dating in July 2020 but kept their relationship hush-hush at first.

This will be Teresa’s second marriage. She was married to ex-husband Joe Giudice for 20 years before finalizing their divorce in September 2020. They share daughters Gia, 20, Gabriella, 17, Milania, 15, and Audriana, 12.
