Buckle up, Bravo fans, because you’ll soon be taking a deep dive into Erika Jayne and Tom Girardi’s legal controversies thanks to a new documentary aptly dubbed, The Housewife and the Hustler.
Over the last six months plus, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and her estranged husband have faced a bevy of very public controversies, including allegations of embezzlement and fraud.
Fans have been inundated with tidbits about Erika and Tom’s personal, financial, and legal issues in the press. Still, no one has yet to comprehensively look into the controversies facing the estranged reality TV couple.
That is until now.
A new ABC News Originals documentary will look into all of the allegations facing Erika and Tom, including claims they staged their divorce amid Tom’s legal troubles.
The special will feature various legal experts, those accusing Tom and Erika of embezzlement, Real Housewives, and various pop-culture experts.
“Tom Girardi was L.A. law — so powerful,” one legal expert said in the trailer while another added, “They were just blowing money left and right, but then….”
“I think the biggest question is: Did she know?” actress and comedian Heather McDonald pondered.
The documentary will air exclusively on Hulu starting on June 14. It will also “feature voicemail messages, court records, and a never-before-aired deposition tape of Tom.”
