If there ever was a legendary ‘Housewives’ man-eater, it would be Luann de Lesseps.
The RHONY star came on the show as a demure, married Countess; however, she has evolved into a free-spirited woman who is constantly looking for love. Fans will see Lu getting hot and heavy with her hunky trainer Garth this season of RHONY; however, Lu has since confirmed the two are no longer seeing each other personally, but that doesn’t mean she is looking to stay single.
According to People Magazine, de Lesseps spoke out via Access Hollywood about her love life, stating:
“I am dating. Garth and I had a great relationship during COVID. It was a COVID sizzle, and then it fizzled — and that’s okay. We’ve moved on, and I’m dating. I met somebody in Mexico, so I’m seeing him once in a while. But I’m single and always a hopeless romantic. Never say never.”
Lu had met the handsome fitness trainer o a dating app last year and faced speculation about her relationship after rumors swirled that Garth had cheated on her. Luann quickly shut the rumors down, stating the two had already split ways, stating at the time, “Garth and I stopped dating before the holidays, and I only wish him well.”
Luann is the ultimate romantic, even after a very public divorce from Count Alexandre de Lesseps from 1993 to 2009 and a second marriage to Tom D’Agostino, which every Bravo fan knows lasted less than a year. Despite two unsuccessful marriages, Luann is open to the institution of marriage, stating:
“I have been there, done that, but you never say never, right? I am a hopeless romantic. I’ve been married twice and, like they say, three times the charm. So, you never know.”
I have hope for Lu as three does seem to be the magic number for a lot of ‘wives. RHOC’s Lauri Peterson and Tamra Judge both seem to have found their happily ever after on husband #3, so keep the faith, Lu!
