Miami is back, and it’s hotter than ever.
The ladies of South Beach are expected to return for a reboot on Peacock, and according to Page Six, we may be seeing familiar faces. According to the Gossip site, Alexia Echevarria will be back; however, she may need to find some friends to recommend as there are still vacant spots. Miami OG Marysol Patton is rumored to be out, and since her beloved mother, Mama Elsa, has passed, I can see this being accurate. Say what you want about Marysol; Mama Elsa was the real star in that family.
So why was Alexia asked back with others were not? According to Page Six, “Alexia Echevarria is a shoo-in as she has such a dramatic and challenging life story between her ex-husband’s death, her son’s accident and new [fiancé],” an insider told Page Six. Regarding Marysol, the sourced agreed with me as it’s stated that Marysol “is likely out as her storyline with her mother was what viewers really loved, and her mother recently passed away.”
Other names such as Lisa Hochstein and Larsa Pippin are still a ‘maybe’ while new names such as Phil Collins’ ex Orianne Cevey and singer Paulina Rubio could be added to the cast.
I can see Larsa angling to get back on reality tv after her falling out with the Kardashians. Paulina Rubio is also a huge Latina superstar, so I could see her being an amazing fit. Either way – I will be tuning in!
