The Real Housewives of New York City will be back on before we know it!
Next season on the RHONY LuAnn de Lesseps and Bethenny Frankel are apparently going to be fighting a lot. Page Six recently revealed that LuAnn informed them that she and Bethenny “fight a lot” on the new season. According to Reality Blurb and sources, Lu and B will be going at it on a number of occasions throughout the upcoming 11th season. LuAnn herself had opened up about season 11 of RHONY at one of her cabaret shows at Feinstein’s/54 Below. LuAnn teased her drama with Bethenny and confirmed that her friend is going to be seen on the show!
Page Six revealed, “She revealed that next season there’s going to be a new housewife. She wouldn’t say who but she said, ‘She’s my friend.'” LuAnn’s friend Barabara Kavovit had been spotted filming with the cast as a tryout last fall, although she had previously tried to sue Bravo for airing what she believed to be a private conversation between her and former cast member, Carole Radziwill. This was in regards to Barbara’s friend LuAnn getting married, because Barbara was worried about LuAnn. After the trial run everybody knew that Barbara was officially going to be on the upcoming season.
LuAnn confirmed that her friend Barbara is officially on next season, according to sources. Things are being kept quiet right now though, until Bravo reveals everything when the show starts airing. As seen in the trailer for the new season, Barbara does indeed make appearances. Her role is a friend of the wives this season.
One month after Barbara’s addition was first reported, Naughty Gossip’s Rob Shuter told his fans on Twitter that the new cast member was already at odds with Bethenny. The drama is likely to do with her pal LuAnn. Rob also stated that Bethenny had tried to not let Barbara on the show. Andy Cohen wouldn’t confirm or deny Barbara being on the show. He did say a couple of months ago to The Cheat Sheet, “I will say you know we’re always trying out new faces. That’s part of the reason the show’s so successful, and we have a lot in store for next season.”
Besides the new addition of Barbara, OG of the RHONY, Jill Zarin, is set to appear part-time again.
I’m so ready for the RHONY to be back on! It looks like we’re in store for a good season. Life is good in The Big Apple!
