The struggle is real for Kim Richards. The reality star is now fighting harder than ever to keep her sobriety in tact as she mourns the death of her ex-husband Monty Brinson. While Kim may be fighting an uphill battle, she is not alone as her friends have rallied behind her in hopes of helping her remain sober.
According to PEOPLE, “Kim’s friends have been showing so much support after Monty died. They are texting and calling her and trying to visit as much as possible. Kim’s been devastated and feels like part of her is gone. He was her rock.”
Sources say Kim’s friends are most concerned with her falling off the wagon as she deals with the pain of losing Monty.
“Everyone close to her is worried this will make her drink again because she is so upset. She’s taking it one day at a time, so they are hopeful she stays clean. She’s been very open about the struggle. It’s a very hard time for her right now.”
