Season two of “Manzo’d With Children” focuses on Caroline Manzo’s son, Albie, moving back home after previously living in Hoboken with his brother Chris. Albie and Chris have tried to break into several different businesses with their restaurants and “blk water.” On “Manzo’d With Children,” Albie reveals that he is beginning work in the plant industry, specifically with marijuana.
During their interview with Wetpaint, Caroline and her family explain that Albie’s job may not actually involve marijuana like he said on “Manzo’d With Children.” “It really has nothing to do with marijuana at all,” Caroline’s husband Albert said. Albert then says Albie is working with a steroid-like product to make plants grow faster. The product is used on a variety of plants, but Albert reveals that it just responds to marijuana the best.
Caroline explains the process Albie goes through to sell this product. She says he and Chris go out to Colorado frequently to learn more about the product. She also clarifies that since Albie will be selling the product and not marijuana, “There is no illegal pot growth going on in the state of New Jersey in the Manzo household.”
Due to the response the Manzos have gotten for Albie’s new career, Albert explains that the country needs to change their views on the drug. “There’s so much hypocrisy when it comes to [marijuana],” Albert said. “The country’s wound a little too tight still.”
