Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Joyce Giraud recently stopped by KTLA to talk all things Real Housewives and answer whether the Real Housewives is actually real drama and not scripted.
Speaking to KTLA, Joyce says she always thought that on Reality Television that producers would give you some type of guidance on what to do or who to talk to but denies that being the case on RHOBH saying, “There’s no guidance whatsoever. There’s no scripting. What you see is what you get. At the beginning, I was so shocked at certain things that were happening because I was like, ‘is this really real?”
As for any regrets? Joyce says, “There were moments where I thought this would be a mistake but in life you can’t go back and you just live and learn.”
And what about Brandi? Joyce says that her impression of Brandi was different because she would speak very badly about the girls to her on camera. Joyce reveals at first it was Kim and Kyle who she would speak negatively of but Joyce let her know to stop talking about them and saying things aren’t true. I’ve stated this several times, I don’t think the Real Housewives is scripted. I just think the ladies are put in situations they normally would never be in. For example, Kyle and Carlton don’t like each other much. But Bravo makes sure to put them in the same room knowing something will go down because someone is going to say something to one another.
