Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes is verrrrry rich bitch, and she recently spent a ton of cash on her dream wedding, which will air as part of her spin off, I Dream of NeNe: The Wedding.
Now, some broke down event planner is trying to cash in on NeNe’s fame by suing NeNe, when NeNe never even hired her to plan any type of event, much less her big wedding!
Tiffany Cook of Dream Design Weddings has filed a lawsuit against NeNe, to the tune of $2.5 million! “In her suit, filed in Georgia, Cook claims Leakes promised to pay her 15% of the entire wedding budget PLUS fees design and execution of the wedding PLUS travel expenses to the event,” reports TMZ.
Cook, who was Porsha Stewart and Kordell’s wedding planner, “claims NeNe did fork over the initial down payment ($18,750) … but she hasn’t seen a penny since — and is suing for the remaining $1,142,900 balance … PLUS damages.”
NeNe has lashed back out in a series of tweets, stating that this woman has never been contracted by NeNe or anyone in her camp, and is “thirsty” for some publicity!

It’s a little hard to believe that a wedding planner would sue NeNe out of the blue for no reason, knowing they could be countersued for slander or defamation. Do you think this woman was ever in business negotiations to plan NeNe’s wedding, or she is just trying to get her name out there by using NeNe’s?
