Looks like Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes won’t be having to travel back and fourth from LA to Atlanta anymore because her sitcom has officially gotten the axe! NBC has cancelled ‘The New Normal’ a sitcom that NeNe Leakes starred in!
According to the Hollywood Reporter the 20th television entry marks Ryan Murphy’s first show to not move beyond its freshman run. NeNe Leakes got the role on The New Normal after she appeared on Glee who is also created by Ryan. Ryan took a liking to NeNe but NeNe’s sitcom clearly didn’t last very long.
NeNe took to twitter to thank Ryan for all he’s done saying, “I worked wit some of the most amazing people ever on The New Normal! I love u all! We will meet again ????.”
NeNe continued, “I love my fairy God Mother @MrRPMurphy & @AliAdler 4 believing n me & givin me an amazing opportunity! No mo New Normal but we r forever”
