The Real Housewives of Atlanta happens to be the most popular of the franchise and NeNe Leakes knows the exact reason why! NeNe thinks it has to do with race! She tells the Insider, “In the…’Real Housewives’ franchise, we are the only brown girls. You can always turn on the TV and see those Beverly Hills girls, those Miami girls, those New Jersey girls, and New York girls and you still sort of…get the same flavor, but when you turn and see the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta,’ you’re getting a group of brown girls.”
NeNe adds, “With us, we’re not so plastic surgery. On these other franchises, everybody’s so plastic…We’re just regular girls. We’re really keeping it real, and I’m always surprised when people say, ‘Are you guys scripted?’ We’re so not scripted; we’re just a disaster.”
Well NeNe is a bit plastic surgery. She’s gotten a nose job, her teeth done, her breast done, and lipo! Do you agree with NeNe and think the reason there show is such a hit is because of their color?
